On 12/22/2023, I went to the Modica Brothers at ******************** to inquire about a set of tires for my vehicle. At that time, I order 4 Sumitomo tires for my 2020 ****** Outback. On 12/26/2023, I was contacted and advised my tires were in. I arrived at Modica Brothers at 7:25 AM on 12/29/2023 to have the new tires installed and a 4 wheel alignment. I spoke with **** who says he is a traveling manager who regularly works the Vidor location. After the tires were installed and I had paid, I noticed the tires that were on my car were Hercules brand not the Sumitomo tires I had ordered. I was advised by ****** that only two tires came in and he thought **** had spoken with me about putting different tires on. I advised there was no discussion to change the brand or tires I wanted and no one had notified me only 2 tires had arrived. **** had already left but I was able to speak with him on the phone. **** apologized for putting different tires on without consulting with me and he stated someone would drive to ******* to get the other two tires but it would take several hours. I was given to keys to a shop truck but was not going to bring that home for my wife to drive. I was then told by ****** the tires were ordered and would arrive on 01/02/2024 and for us to drive the car with the Hercules tires until the correct tires arrived and are changed out. Today, 01/02/2024, I called and spoke with ****** who checked and told me he can have the correct tires 3 by Thursday and 1 on Friday. It is obvious the order was never placed in an attempt to force me to keep the Hercules tires that I did not want in the first place. I asked to speak with **** but was told he got off at 3 PM. I then asked to speak with ****'s boss and was told a message would be sent to ******************* for him to call me. As of this writing neither **** nor ******************* has called. All I want is the tires that I originally ordered on 12/22 to be installed on my car and an alignment be done.
