    Buckner Children and Family Services has provided quality care and case management to vulnerable Southeast Texas children and hurting families since 1970. We contract with area families to provide care in their homes as foster parents to at-risk youth and children, primarily from Southeast Texas, that have been removed from their biological families due to abuse and/or neglect. Community-based services include: STAR (Services To At Risk Youth), TRAIL (Transitioning to Responsible Adult Independent Living), The FYi Center (Fostering Youth Independence), Project HOPES (Healthy Outcomes through Prevention and Early Support) and Fatherhood EFFECT.
