I contacted Jrnys Wellness to get shots for weight loss. After taking their test, sadly they said I was Not a candidate for this treatment plan. But then they started charging me $89.00 a month for 2 months, (May and June), they are not easy to contact.I have been trying to contact them for a week, sending emails and finally I had to contacted my credit card company. This company failed to inform me of the process that they would continue to send me prescriptions and charge me for them even though I have canceled it. Hello, like many Americans, I was looking for an easy way to get a Semiglutide without going through my doctor/insurance hoopla. I had type 2 diabetes last year, was able to get better, but my health declined again.I paid $66 toward a questionnaire to see if I was eligible for the medicine. I already have a primary care physician. My insurance is not willing to pay for the 'good' medications. After I was told I was eligible I was then asked to pay over $200 to get the medication. I started a chat and asked what I paid for? I was told the $66 was to be evaluated by their ***************** I did not ask or OK a *** I just answered a couple basic questions, is that a Dr?So, I got nothing for my $66. Zero service was delivered to me. I tried to fight for my $ back and they would not budge. They insisted I had to pay more to get the medication. I was very excited to find the JRNYS platform. I did not have a issue with the $89/month cost. However, there was an issue with the prescribed medication not available from my pharmacy so I purchased it through their pharmacy at $300 on 4/8/24. On 4/14/24, the medication became available and I notified them I would like to cancel my shipment. Originally, I was told the medication ships within 5-7 days, but when I tried to cancel I was told it shipped. I continued to wait for the medication. I was never given the pharmacy information to contact them directly. I was told it was delivered on 4/22/24 which was 2 weeks after I placed my order. It was not sent to my house as I was able to prove. Instead of refunding my money which is what I originally asked for they shipped another medication. I told them prior to shipping I would refuse the medication, but still it was sent. When it arrived at my house I returned the medication. I tried to dispute this charge with my bank but was unsuccessful. So now I am out $300. and have no medication. They stopped responding to my messages. We want to clarify that due to a national GLP-1 shortage, 5-7 business days were required to package and ship medication. We communicated and fulfilled that timeline to the customer and provided a tracking number for the overnight delivery.
The customer confirmed delivery of the order as document in the attached screenshot, but still decided to initiate a chargeback with their financial institution.
While we gladly accept cancellations for medication orders before they are shipped, we are unable to accept returns for medication after it has been received by the patient. This is due to safety regulations that prohibit the return of medications once they have left the pharmacy.

The $89 fee is for a membership that provides access to our wellness program, including consultations with healthcare providers, medication management, and ongoing support. While we do offer weight management programs that include Mounjaro, the medication itself is not covered in the membership fee.

This company is false advertising a product. According to the ad you pay 89 dollars to receive mounjaro for weight loss . So I paid for that . Now they are tell people that that is a membership cost and will not refund my money or send my order . This is a bait and switch outfit. I am rejecting this response because:
There was no mention of the 89 dollars being for a membership fees . It was for the prescription. Its a bait and switch and I want a full refund. I even told them I didnt have insurance for the prescription and they tried to charge my insurance. They are scam artists and should be charged with stealing from people

The company had tried to pull money from my account on May 29. I had my account locked due to unauthorized uses. And then on June 12, the company just decided to pull the money out again. The due date is the 29th of the month they have caused me financial hardship on this, I have tried emailing back-and-forth with them. I was told as soon as I provided proof the money was taken from my account they would give it back to me. They say nope thats for me. You cant have it. They did not have authorization to pull that money out on the 12th without sending me an email or something advising me. This is what theyre going to do . I have canceled that membership because of this plus I had zero contact with the doctor to follow up and see how I was doing on this medication.Business Response
