I hired an online Business to open and run an E-commerce store for me. After receiving my payment, they wanted to change the terms of the Contract. They said because they didn't receive my payment within 48 hours of signing the Contract, I could not get the 70/30 commission split but could only get the 60/40 for the same price of $35k. (The old bait and switch) They knew I wouldn't meet that deadline because I was sending a cashiers check and didn't trust wiring the money. They texted me 4 days after I signed the contract requesting to send my payment. They insisted I take the 10% cut but also offered a refund. I declined their new contract offer and requested a refund. I informed them, if my payment was late my check should have been returned uncashed. After giving me excuses and stalling to return my money, they said they have great news and I could get the terms of the original contract. By then I didn't trust them and requested my refund. Then they required I sign a refund release form. After some back and forth because I refused to open a DocuSign form and requested a PDF copy instead, they refused. After some time, with great hesitation I opened and signed the DocuSign Release form and they also signed.I have emailed them for my refund everyday for over a month and they have refused to respond.I am unable to upload my documents.I will email the Contract and Refund Release form to you.
