      On January 3 I contacted Direct Express to obtain my balance it was zeroed out. I reached out to a representative to find out what had happened. 2 charges were made that I neither made nor authorized. The card was cancelled and a new one issued. The Representative stated he was going to send ****** to fill out and return in 10 days. Never got them. Received new card and within in a week that card was compromised. The new card issued was being seito California. I don't know anyone in **********. Another card was issued and provisional credit was given that I was not informed of. On April 3 I contacted Direct Express to obtain my balance and it was zeroed out. Apparently they informed by the merchant that I purchased a $1100 piece of jewelry at an old address that I had not lived at in a year. I immediately contacted local law enforcement and filed a report on the initial January 3. I spoke to several representatives again being totally dismissed. I got the merchant information but there was no phone number just a website. I googled the merchant nothing came up it didn't exist. I googled the address only to discover the address on file was used to commit FRAUD. The address was also under investigation by the *********************************. I file a report with them and 2 reports with the **** Direct Express is very hostile towards it's cardholders who are victims of internet crimes they are dismissive. This is not the first time my card has been compromised with Direct Express since being a cardholder. They have no interest in protecting their members, absolutely no security protocols in place or refuse to do so. I suggest people close their accounts with Direct Express and move their money to a ***************** institution.

      Direct Express has the worst customer service. They will not assist me in a dispute for money that was illegally withdrawn from my mothers account while she was dying. They made withdrawals at the *** the day before, the day of, and the day after she passed away. The people in charge of caring for her were responsible.

      I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOLKS TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK! I ASKED FOR PROOF OF CLOSING MY ACCOUNT AND THESE PEOPLE GAVE ME THE RUN AROUND!!!

      ******** did NOTHING! Called 4/10/24 and gave agent all new information, address, phone, that we moved from ****** to **********. Destroyed old card so don't have one. Didn't receive calls because we checked call logs. Received letter saying old card was active. None of your agents helped ******** made things worse. We can't eat, pay bills, get dog food. I'm writing for my wife because she's crying about no help! This is what your company is about. Useless supervisor's that keep their jobs, useless employees that keep their jobs. Nothing could help what you've done to my wife. You don't want to know what I'm thinking. You're horrible people. ********************* and ***********************

      Hi - my mother's Direct express card was frozen more than 2 weeks ago due to suspected fraud. They request email of drivers license, I send that. I get a note that they request birth certificate and social security card pictures, and I email those out. I get a response back to send the exact same information! I send again, get same response. Send again, same response. call them, they say they don't have it, then I send again. Call again, they say to FAX it to them. I do that, they still don't have it. I email again, and bounces back -- email full!!Call again, they say to send to another email address "because the email we have is not working". Then I GET THE SAME RESPONSE to send the same documents over and over.What's going on? Funds are locked away here and cannot retrieve them...

      This organization should be a shame of themselves for the customer service. My card was stolen. I provided a photo id front and back and they rejected it and said I had to provide a photo id that had not expired. Clearly the expiration date on the front of the id had NOT expired. Then attempted to send a different photo id and I got a message the ** mailbox is full. Tried again, same error message. I cannot make my mortgage payment, now I have to pay a late fee and I am on a limited budget. Next is my water bill. I have contacted my congressman, but I am sure that will do no good. Once again, our government is taking care of non-citizens and does not care about hard working senior citizens that have given their all to build this country.

      THIS IS REALLY INSANE. I HAVE READ THE REVIEWS AND OTHERS ARE HAVING THE SAME EXACT PROBLEMS. WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON WITH THIS COMPANY, THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE. PEOPLE HAVE BILLS TO PAY. I AM INDEED BEYOND ****** BECAUSE HERE IT IS THE 10TH OF APRIL 2024, AND I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE ANY TYPE OF HELP TOWARDS MY ACCOUNT. ******************** EMPLOYEES HAVE GIVEN ME NOTHING BUT THE RUN AROUND. THEY DON'T GIVE A DAM CAUSE THEY BILLS PAID. HERE ME AND OTHER PEOPLE AS I READ, IS HAVING NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS TO GET OUR OWN MONEY. I HAVE CONTACTED NEWS STATION AND HOPEFULLY THEY WILL START INVESTIGATING OF WHAT THE **** GOING ON.       Direct Express I can go on and on and know I'm about how bad direct expresses. They are the worst government agency I've ever dealt with. I want to call them a bank, but they're not a bank. And although they take on the role of the bank, there's still not a bank., I sent a copy of my I. D my ********** ** over a month ago so that I can transfer money from direct Express into my other account. Well, that wasn't good enough. I had to recake a picture of the ** front and back and it had to be color. In color. Throughout the month of March, there was no notifications at all that said that I had to do that when I went onto the app, I lost my debit card at the beginning of March and then ordered a new one in plenty of time to get paid on the 3rd of April.It never showed up And that's when I decided to have money transferred from direct Express in the netspend. But not till that colored. A picture showed up for him. And then they told me. And then they told me call back in 3 hours. I called back in more than 3 hours more like 4 hours. They said call back after 6 hours. I told them that I was broke homeless and no money to eat and she hung up on me. That's just this time last year. They made me do that with just to get a new debit card. I had to send them a colored picture front back my I. D. ********* does that or wouldn't it act like a bank anywand they tell me this year when I explained it to him, they said that. Somebody was trying to use my card well. How would they know that? I didn't report that the messages took it upon themselves to make my life h*** If I could say one thing, can anybody who reads this get another bank immediately? And don't ever use direct Express if you don't have to, they don't care about you or whether or not you need You're money, And if I could ask the president 41 wish right would be to lay off all the employees at direct express and hire a handle the rest of our Needs.

      I tried to transfer my special needs daughters SSI to a bank account twice. The first time it was reversed back to Direct Deposit, 2nd time I tried to transfer the funds again, they never sent the money and then put a hold on the account. They claim they cant verify acct. I have given them all the information (which by the way is more info then my own banks ask for) they are not releasing the money or giving me access to the account. They told me to contact SSI. SSI said it is out of their hands. I read in Direct express information any funds left for over 120 days you cant get back seems like a big scam to me.

      Just got new card on Wednesday and it's locked yesterday! Can't pay my bills, can't get ahold of anyone unless you wait almost hour or over AND ALSO HUNG UP AFTER WAITING. THEY GAVE ME A EMAIL...BUT WHAT I GOT KEEP CALLING UNTIL MAYBE IT GETS UNLOCKED! IM HIGHLY UPSET I'VE USED THIS TYPE OF CARD FOR OVER TEN YEARS NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM. THEY ALSO ASK ME FOR LOT INFO OVER THE ***** JUST TO Be told some ****, so I dk how long I'm going to put up with this.
