    This company is refusing to refund all my money after emailing them within 12 hours of looking at their site and finding it dishonest on their claims.This company claims to have THOUSANDS of jobs. I found 14 of which 8 were already closed. They claim training and have generic downloads that can be found online for free.They claim you can work from home and yet 90% of their jobs are not freelance or remote.There were no jobs paying more than $21.00 per hour for freelancers/ remote writers.Description On Website Writers Work connects anyone interested in writing, with the companies that need them desperately. Writers Work is an all-in-one software platform designed to support freelance writers at every stage of their journey. We offer tools such as a job and submission finder, as well as an in-app editor for completing assignments. Alongside that, we provide access to training materials, eBooks, tutorials, and helpful videosall created to guide our members in building a successful freelance writing career.

    Ive attached a copy of our email exchange with the customer, which shows that they were able to access and utilize all features included in their membership. Additionally, the customer opted to upgrade to the Pro version. This upgrade comes with extra perks, including advanced training materials, and is clearly labeled as non-refundable. The screenshot provided shows the interface at the point of purchase, where the non-refundable policy is stated clearly before checkout. Our support team also reiterated this in a separate message when the customer inquired about a refund.

    Its important to highlight that we offer thousands of job listings for our members. Its possible that the customer was browsing only the "Featured Jobs" section, which updates every 14 days. Because our listings are manually curated for quality, some expired postings may remain visible for a short time. Members are encouraged to flag any outdated listings they encounter, which helps us maintain the accuracy of our site.

    Beyond job listings, there are two additional ways to find writing opportunities through the platform. The "Submissions" section lists publications that accept external contributionsgreat for writers looking to pitch ideas or build their portfolio. The "Writers Marketplace" allows freelancers to showcase their work and be contacted directly by clients for potential projects. These features are especially helpful for those starting out or seeking to build long-term client relationships.

    Lastly, Ive also included confirmation of a refund that was issued today for the $49 Lifetime Membership fee. We genuinely value our members feedback and always aim to provide as much support and transparency as possible. Please let us know if you need anything else!

    I am rejecting this response because: Your site does not have 'thousands' of job opportunities and the very few opportunities you do have can be found on free writing websites like Indeed. Before you allow new consumers into your website after initial payment of $49, a plethora of rapid fire marketing products are shown with limited time to read and promises of gaining an edge over other writers. As far as your editing programs, videos and so called educational benefits, I don't need them. I'm a trained editor, bestselling author and have written for medical journals, magazines and newspapers for over 50 years. I knew the moment I perused your website that it was all bluster and not a source for 'thousands' of writing job opportunities. As I am retired from medicine I was looking for medical writing connections and found none as promised. 

    I was on your site for very little time and your I.T. professional would be able to see I didn't download anything--you had nothing I wanted. I emailed immediately for a refund on the same day and expect a reputable company to return the funds.

    We understand. Our job listings are pulled from all over the web and compiled into one listing, but that's only one of the ways to find work. Beginners and those looking to connect directly with potential employers or clients will have more success with the Submissions and Writers Marketplace areas of the site, so if you didn't look past the job listings, you've missed a lot.


    The Submissions section lists websites and publications that are open to accepting outside submissions from writers (generally pitches/proposals for articles). It's a great way to generate content for your portfolio and interact with potential clients. The Writers Marketplace allows clients to browse your portfolio and get in touch with you about writing gigs. Keep in mind that portfolio pieces can be created completely for this purpose--you're not limited to something that's already been published.

    Anyhow, I did inform the upper management about your concern and proceeded with a full refund, regardless of whether you've downloaded the additional materials exclusive to Pro members only.

    Writers Work will not refund my money. I will advertise in large print that they have a 30 day money back guarantee. However, when you email the to cancel they will not comply. They will explain how great their product is when they reply and not grant the cancellation and refund.

    Thank you for giving us the opportunity to express our side.

    We did receive the complaint and we explained to the customer that we can proceed with the refund, however, since she also purchased add-ons on her subscription, we won't be able to refund her in full.

    These add-ons are non-refundable, and we did inform her about this too. 

    Note that our add-ons show a pop-up reminder prior to check out about our non-refundable terms and how they'll receive these articles/add-ons on top of their subscription.

    We did process the basic Lifetime subscription right away.

    Please refer to the  attached files for proof.

    The customer has disputed the add-ons purchase with her bank, and we did respond accordingly as well.

    Please do understand that our add-ons are articles and guides that are specifically designed to help our writers flourish their knowledge about freelancing and writing. These are sent directly to their emails and can be accessed even if they are no longer with us.

    I paid for a service that charged $1.00 to unlock my ******** account. They then tacked on a $38.00 fee without telling me about it. To this date, they have yet to help me with my locked-out ******** account. These people are a scam. The only thing they have done is to get me an email to the ******** support team, which I used, and send in a ticket to FB support. Today I managed to log on to FB using my tablet but my main computer is still locked out. I asked for their help and they will not help me for a service that I paid for. Without saying anything to me they canceled my subscription. These people are stealing money from people.

    I purchased the program on Oct. 28/24 and paid $49.00. Their refund policy stated that if you are unhappy with the course within 30 days of purchase, you can apply for a full refund by contacting **************************************************************. com. I sent an email to that address twice and it was returned as undeliverable.

    We looked into this and it appears that we have not received any email from the customer. And yes, our refund policy is within a 30-day window timeframe, of which, the customer is qualified to avail.

    We checked  on her subscription and have immediately canceled the account. A refund has been processed as well which may take 7-10business days to get posted back onto the originating account.

    I signed up for a service called Writers Work that claims to connect writers with thousands of jobs that are available worldwide for various writing content. I paid and was never even able to log into their webpage as a member. It claims I need to install Chrome, Firefox or Edge. I have an Apple computer that runs on Safari. I don't want to install a new browser onto my computer. There was nothing saying this website isn't compatable with ************************ It was a waste of money, $49 to be exact, to sign up.

    On September 14, 2023 I purchased the services of Writers Work to help me with my freelance writing. The amount was $49 USD (and my credit card was charged $68.25 CAD). On October 1, I checked my credit card statement and realized that Writers Work had charged me twice for the same service. I emailed them at *********************************** on October 1 and asked for a refund for one of the charges. Writers Work didn't email me back and did not refund the money. On October 4, I emailed them again to ask for the refund again. I heard nothing. On October 8, I told them that I wanted a refund for both charges since I was within in their 30 Day guarantee. I also told them that I was going to get in touch with the BBB. I have heard nothing and so I am moving ahead with this dispute. I was going to upload a copy of the emails I sent to them but then wasn't sure if I should since they do personally identify me. I figure that you probably mean one of their employees but thought I'd better leave it off just in case. I can reupload it if you think that would be helpful. Thank you.

    I made a purchase on 4/1/23 from Writers Work. I paid $47 dollars for a subscription to use their platform I paid another $99 for coaching and $99 dollars for a tool kit! when I first signed Writers Work led me to believe, that I could cancel within 30 days for a refund. I made a request to cancel the very next day! they canceled my subscription, then told me that they could only refund me the $47 dollars and they couldn't refund me the other $99 for the coach that I never used and they was also said that they couldn't refund me the $99 for the tool kit because, it was an optional purchase! Writers work only sell their optional packages but they do not explain that, the $99 coaching and $99 toolkit is none refundable! I only had the program for one day.

    I paid the amount of $47.00 to this company on August 8,2023. They guaranteed a 30 day refund if you were not satisfied. I paid the amount through credit card and was advised to wait 10 days to file a dispute with them. I tried signing in to the website to create an account and profile and it started my name and email was not identifiable. I sent them an email explaining my situation and that wanted a refund and they never responded to me.

    Writers.Works is forcing a subscription and withdrawing funds from my account without my permission. No contract signed. Several attempts have been made to cancel subscription. They are stealing my money at this point.
