On September 14, 2023 I purchased the services of Writers Work to help me with my freelance writing. The amount was $49 USD (and my credit card was charged $68.25 CAD). On October 1, I checked my credit card statement and realized that Writers Work had charged me twice for the same service. I emailed them at *********************************** on October 1 and asked for a refund for one of the charges. Writers Work didn't email me back and did not refund the money. On October 4, I emailed them again to ask for the refund again. I heard nothing. On October 8, I told them that I wanted a refund for both charges since I was within in their 30 Day guarantee. I also told them that I was going to get in touch with the BBB. I have heard nothing and so I am moving ahead with this dispute. I was going to upload a copy of the emails I sent to them but then wasn't sure if I should since they do personally identify me. I figure that you probably mean one of their employees but thought I'd better leave it off just in case. I can reupload it if you think that would be helpful. Thank you.

I made a purchase on 4/1/23 from Writers Work. I paid $47 dollars for a subscription to use their platform I paid another $99 for coaching and $99 dollars for a tool kit! when I first signed Writers Work led me to believe, that I could cancel within 30 days for a refund. I made a request to cancel the very next day! they canceled my subscription, then told me that they could only refund me the $47 dollars and they couldn't refund me the other $99 for the coach that I never used and they was also said that they couldn't refund me the $99 for the tool kit because, it was an optional purchase! Writers work only sell their optional packages but they do not explain that, the $99 coaching and $99 toolkit is none refundable! I only had the program for one day.

I paid the amount of $47.00 to this company on August 8,2023. They guaranteed a 30 day refund if you were not satisfied. I paid the amount through credit card and was advised to wait 10 days to file a dispute with them. I tried signing in to the website to create an account and profile and it started my name and email was not identifiable. I sent them an email explaining my situation and that wanted a refund and they never responded to me.

Writers.Works is forcing a subscription and withdrawing funds from my account without my permission. No contract signed. Several attempts have been made to cancel subscription. They are stealing my money at this point.

WritersWork markets it as a freelance platform for writers. I wanted to give it a chance to start up my writing career. First, they make you watch a video for membership, which makes sense, and I paid for it. However, afterward, they immediately make you watch videos for other programs that you never asked for. The only brightest button is "buy now" with the no I don't want this button right under the button. After I tried to avoid this payment by clicking the button underneath, I was sent to the "buy now" option. I used my card information that I did not want to be saved on the platform to proceed with the purchase. My credit card is now maxed out because of the $99 charge. I messaged the company stating that the purchase was accidental, but they told me it was non-refundable. Even if I had purchased the "premium" content with intent, nowhere in the video or that video webpage for new users did it state that it was non-refundable. The company markets itself as a platform that will help upcoming writers whom they will not take money from, but look what's happened now. I got scammed out of $99 due to website design. The buy now button should be in a different place from the rejection button. Why would I pay $99 if I haven't even gotten to make my website yet or check out the job available? I want my refund and the website to be modified to avoid this error. Also, you need an order# and a spot to see only your past purchases, so I can't even give a screenshot.

I found Writers Work through an ad, and was made to believe that the job opportunities for those without prior writing experience were abundant. This turned out to be misinformation and so I applied for a refund. I was charged $65.14 for a 49 dollar service, which was the first red flag after reviewing my purchase. The agent I talked to said that they have processed the refund, but I have not recieved it. Quite disappointed with the lack of clarity and would appreciate a full refund.

I paid twice for the same service. I want to be reimbursed ASAP! I already purchased this program awhile ago and after I paid again, I was able to view the program and realized that I already own it. I can't find anywhere on their site how to contact them. I'm also reading the other complaints and I am also a victim.

I paid a discounted fee of $50 to join Writers.Work only to find that their site is basically just a listing of writing gigs that I could've found anywhere else. Feeling misled, I made a request to cancel my subscription and have my fee refunded. After several days of radio silence a representative replied, apologized for the wait, and asked for my reason for the request. When I explained myself they said they would have the refund issued. Now, I have yet to receive a refund and my account has also seemingly been deleted, since my email address isn't recognized in the login fields anymore. This is immoral and messed up and I want a refund as soon as possible. Writers.Work seriously misleads people about the use and function of their site, and they ought to be taken down.

The name of the company is Writers works. My problem is last year I signed up and paid ***** for their lifetime membership. I was told at any time if I am unhappy they'll gladly return my money. I had email conversations today 5/12/2022 trying to get my money refunded. Now all of a sudden of the blue there refusing to give me my money back. They went from they would at any time if I wasn't happy now to refusing to give my money back. This is called ripping people off. I am very mad at them. There an online writing platform and in this platform they have a university, jobs board but the problem is that i told them that they seem to be for freelance copywriting which doesn't seem to be for me. The only resolution is giving me my money back.
