I'm retracting my former 5-star review after the terrible customer service experience I've recently had at Austin Shoe Hospital 620/2222.I dropped off a pair of brand new, never worn, red bottoms to get the sole protectors put on them. I was delighted they were able turn to them around for me in 2 business days (arriving late from ****** as I needed them for an out of town wedding.When I went to pick up the shoes up, the sole protectors looked perfect, however, I noticed 2 small dots on each of the bottoms above the sole protectors. I asked the associate what the dots were he said he wasn't sure and wanted to keep for repair. I said I need to take for a wedding so he wrote a note for me so there wouldn't be any problems when I return them for repair post-trip I brought them in for repair and then I called multiple times for status updates none were given. Then I received a call the shoes were ready for pick up. I went to pick up the shoes they were not repaired. Apparently, the owner said they "were worn" NO KIDDING.After two weeks of having my shoes again, they still are there as I have to now argue with them over this debacle. You'd think for a returning customer time and time again, actually any customer, they'd have better customer service than that. They've literally argued with me I "bought the shoes like that" to "it happened when I wore them". I'm not even asking for a brand new pair of shoes, which I should, just asking them to repair the damage they did. Apparently, their customer service ***** and they do not value their customers.
