    Unfair business practices by Scribe:Scribe contacts me 2 years after my stay at their property through a third party debt collection company stating that I owe them a sum because they claim that I broke our contract. Regardless of what either party says about the situation, I should have been contacted WAY earlier, either phone or email which they have under my file by ANYONE at the company. Two months before the move-out date, officiated by the lease, I was in communications with *****, asking her what my options were about leasing. Not only did she not respond in timely manners, she also never sent out the renewal lease offers that she said she would send out. (This will all be shown in the letter attached with email screenshots). Evidently, she was my main point of contact but NEVER did she provide me contact info for the official landlord, which she most recently used as her defense when I pointed out the fact that the lease says tenant OR landlord. The contract states that landlord OR tenant must provide the other party with written notice of leave, which neither the landlord nor ***** (she calls herself the Landlords Managing Landlord) or anyone at Scribe did any given point in the 2 years from my leaving to the current moment. She was incredibly passive throughout my whole time of communicating with her, with no desire or initiative to find out if I was planning to move out or renew. I had still returned my keys and all necessary paperwork on time to their office.The landlord also simply confiscated my $850 deposit without notifying me in any way. This must be a violation by law.
