    HORRIBLE!! SCAM ALERT!! READ EVERY REVIEW HERE & on ****** before signing up with these professional scammers!!! I could write our horrible experience but talking about it ANY further will only add unnecessary STRESS to my life and Im already living with a late stage illness! So I will say you have been warned, do yourself an act of kindness and find a different pest solution. God bless you all. By the way I have cancelled my contract, I had to cancel my card on file so they would stop charging me, I had to retain an attorney because ECCOSHIELD PEST SOLUTIONS did NOT fulfilled their part of the contract! I have cameras everywhere and they did not do what they said they would: they say ***** minutes of treating but expect them to come by and quickly zig zag spray (about 10 mins total) and then they leave! Nothing in 8 months has changed as far as our pest problem! Its worse! I have asked them to close my account IMMEDIATELY. Here is more written proof. BE WARNED: that on top of the $172 they charge for each visit; they also want to tack on a cancellation discount to close account for $162.00 but keep in mind that many others have cancelled and are STILL being billed. I had to go to great lengths to end this nightmare. Thats all Ill say. My lawyer can handle the rest, life is short and Im just trying to stay alive for my kids I cant deal with these types of unnecessary stressors.

    ******** company to deal with. Ive never been charged by anyone for canceling our contract. I would think twice before giving your business to them.

    Beware of this company. It's unfortunate that I did not read all the previous reviews to realize how horrible this company is. First, the salesperson, ************ came to my door to solicit their services. I never called them, never asked them to come and do an evaluation. **** lied telling me my neighbors had signed up. He used a few names of my neighbors and just assumed **** was being honest, but in fact, none of my neighbors did sign up for the services.I told **** we had just had our placed treated one week ago by another company and did not need any new pest control service. But **** is a bit of a con artist and when I mentioned I did have a problem with grasshoppers in my backyard, he assured me he could help. I told **** very specifically, I was NOT interested in any treatment inside the house as that had already been taken care of. And **** told me over and over about what they use to treat the outdoors and how they could help with the grasshopper problem we were having.Being the con artist **** is, he rambled off different plans and option. Again, I had to remind him that we just had our house sprayed and the company we use, we were happy with and we only contacted them when needed and didn't need an ongoing contract. I was told by **** that we could cancel at ANY time. I see now from other reviews, this is a common con tactic used by this company to fool people into signing. I think **** could tell how desperate I was to get help for the outside pest problem, specifically the grasshoppers and he took advantage of that telling me he could get rid of them.Beware and do not use this company.

    Do not, do not do business with this company. You have been warned. I had a one year contract and just before my last service to fulfill the contract I canceled any further business. I just received a text today they are showing up on June 21st for the next treatment. I have spent the majority of the day hearing women out of a call service in the *********** repeating my service is still active. They don't veer off script.The service and contract were fulfilled, I canceled and they ignore and don't give any option to speak to anyone locally in Austin. I have emailed them to leave me alone.Do not deal with this company as they are not legitimate. Otherwise I would have been able to speak to someone in their Austin "office" which does not seem to exist.

    They will not stop calling me. I canceled my account and they refuse to follow through with the request. The demand that I speak to someone on the phone. This was not part of my contract. They are liars (told me several of my neighbors signed up for service so Id be getting a neighbor discount. None of my neighbors use their service and I pay MORE than what is currently being advertised on their website.) I do not want to use their company anymore but they continually call, email and text me multiple times each day despite written , electronic and telephonic requests to STOP.

    Please do not do business with them. I was approached by a representative for pest control services and told him I did not want to join. He continued to talk and pressure and so he presented a one time trial option and that I did not have to opt into the quarterly plan which is annotated in the contract I signed. I opted out of the quarterly yet they still scheduled me for another service and upon me calling to cancel the agent said I still had to pay $200+ to cancel even though it was in the contract I signed that this was a trial. Their work was minimal and not worth the $169 trial that I payed for.

    I was scammed by EcoShield. The salesman came to my door during a busy work day and pressured me into trying the service and if I didn't like it, I could cancel. I already had a service that I liked, but he continued to pressure. I felt really uncomfortable and just wanted him gone, so I said yes. I just called to cancel and found out that he sold me into a 2 year contract that I didn't know about. It's now going to cost hundreds to get out it. This business needs to be shut down. I never received any emails or text messages stating that it was a 2 year commitment or there will be very heavy penalties. I'm still cancelling because I feel so violated and ripped off from the scam.

    I was approached by *************************** the end of July regarding a quarterly service. I informed him I was already in a contract with Romex. He guaranteed me he would by me out of my contract if I signed up him. It's now October and I have yet to receive $200 to end my contract. EcoShield has been a pain to reach out to. I can never reach a person in the local office only the call center. Now I pay $400 quarterly for two different companies to service my lawn. They are shady company. Beware of this company is a rip off. I also live in a HOA community and will be reporting this company.

    This is a copy of the email we sent to Ecoshield of Austin:We signed up for your service 8/8/23 and your salesman assured us that you would spend time to perform a thorough job of spraying around our home taking time to completely coat 3 feet high on the house and 5 feet out from the house. He said it would probably take 45 minutes to an hour.Then your technician showed up and spent 15 to 20 minutes doing a very poor, extremely shoddy job of basically waving the wand in a very wide zig-zag pattern from the ground to the house leaving many gaps when he thought I was watching. After he rounded the corner I ran outside to catch up to him to make him do it properly. I saw on the cement and ground that he didn't ********** on the house once he was out of sight; he just sprayed a straight line about 3 feet from the house on the ground. By the time I caught up to him he was at the back of the house and as soon as he saw me he began to spray in the zig-zag pattern again (although nowhere near enough coverage).I called your customer service and was told someone would contact me within 24 hours; that has already come and gone.Cancel my contract immediately. If this is the type of service you perform I want no part of it; it is a scam.If I do not hear back from you within 24 hours that you have cancelled our account I will report you to the Better Business Bureau, the **************** of ************ and do everything in my power to give your company the worst possible reviews.I have spoken to my Attorney and notified him that you have NOT fulfilled your part of the contract and that I may have to use his services.Take your initial payment and the "discount" and close my account immediately.

    Would . . . not . . . leave.EcoShield salesperson came to the door in the middle of a workday - also it was a very busy day with people working on the house, four *********. Made all these things clear, stated that I had no desire to hire a pest control company and, that if I did find a need, I would be happy to call them at that time.After the first two minutes, I naively thought we understood each other and were wrapping it up. After five minutes, someone soliciting at my door has crossed the line unless I clearly am wanting to discuss and sign up. I was clearly not.Despite this, he proceeded to invite himself to my backyard to close the deal that was never going to close. He finally relented and left about 25 minutes into the unrequested visit.After today, I will never call this company if I ever need a pest control provider, though it's possible I would have if the uninvited salesperson had left in the first three minutes.I'm a *huge* fan of "the hard sell" . . . said no one, ever.
