Lessons.com served me right up to scammers and will take no responsibility at all. I offered me thoughts and prayers. I submitted to find a driving instructor and what looked like reputable companies contacting me, using the name of a local business, I was scammed for my deposit. No action will be taken besides banning the scammer and offering me the tools I need to handle myself and pass off to authorities. From the reviews I have been seeing, this seems like a common practice for this site. Stay away people unless you want to be served up to be robbed.

Scammers, I was looking to get a private baseball coach for my grandson. Up front in looked normal. Fee was normal. Although the area was not in our area (****) and I am in **. Then the money part, he wanted to send money to another number which was TX. I ask to meet him or give me references, he would not do. I said if you are in the same town as me, meet and we can go from there. He wanted a deposit before meeting. I said no. Then he went on to say stuff about trusting and that he was a Christian. I still said no unless we meet. Then went back on Lessons.com to report him and they came back with Thank you for reporting this to us.I've asked our Fraud Team to investigate A&L ATHLETES and found some suspicious activities being done by the pro. That said, we have closed their account and banned them from using the ************ can check out other available baseball coaches here.We apologize for any inconvenience.Sincerely,ManuelThis site is a scam. DO NOT USE

It's rip-off website for teachers. Do't even respond when you don't get a student and asking for refund.

Lessons.com lately sent me faked customers, stating they choose only Me and charging $8+ $ for the leads to see the telephone number of the student. After all none of the potential students is calling or writing me back, and when I call them, they don't even know what I am talking about, angry at me or scared, or pretend to be busy and never call me back after all. Something is fishy there! Students.com automatically charge me also for some leads that considered to be a perfect match for "potential students" who in my geographical radar - max 17 miles, and some of them are as far as in ********! I already spend about $60 recently and want my money back!!!

I am a Flamenco Guitar Instructor. I created a Teacher Profile on Lessons.com during early 2024. Since then I have gotten Leads which are not a match, nor are they nearby. Since Lessons.com wants to charge a fee of $20+ to Message the potential student, I have "Passed" on all Leads which seem to not be focused on what I teach. Today, 9/15/24, I received a notice from my Credit Card on file with Lessons.com that I was Auto Charged for an "Exact Match" Lead. In fact, I was charged before the description of the Lead came in on my phone and before receiving an email regarding this Lead. 1) I found that my Password did not work, and had to create a new Password. 2) When I got into Lessons.com, the Lead was not an "Exact Match," it was for Jazz and Classical. Flamenco is NOT Classical style. 3) I found that an Auto Pay Option for "Exact Match" Leads was switched On. I did NOT do this. I have Messaged Lessons.com, both through their Support Contact and through ******** Messenger, about this incident, and received no Response. They allege they will respond in a few hours. Additionally, info Posted in one of their Responses to a client complaining in August 2024, that there is no way to Remove a Credit Card or Delete an Account references a Button or Box on Settings:Account which DOES NOT exist. In their Privacy Agreement, there is a vague reference under Accessing and Updating Your Information that you can "log in to the site where you are registered and navigate to your account." - No more! If you look at the Reviews on this BBB Site you will sell the Rating is 2 Stars. If you check Reddit you will find nothing but accusations of Lessons.com as a "scam." If you check Trust Pilot you will see 82% Ratings of only 1 Star, and more accusations and complaints. I am going to Block the Charge with my bank's credit card. The only Option that exists on Lessons.com to delete the Account is to "Hide Business Temporarily."

I could describe every way they are fraudulent and unethical but after reading all of the reviews others have left, I have nothing new to add except that everything thing anyone else has already complained about 100% true. This company should be investigated. These people are toxic to society and would better serve the world behind bars. They do in fact let scam leads come through, with no transparency or apparent screaming system despite claiming they do. They charge $20 for each of these too. They cant even get information correct about issues I bring up (e.g. claiming I accepted something when I didnt, responding to my inquiries with completely irrelevant names of clients that Ive never seen, not actually deactivating my account when I requested, charging for leads that are scams probably created by them to drum up charges, and far more).Every response they have given to reviews on this site are categorically false. They are lying on paper on the better business bureau website, but I dont see Ang recourse from the BBB. I guess throwing a bunch of words and looking like you have response is good enough.

Lessons.com has been simply outstanding!! I have gotten incredibly kind students through them that have stayed for years. I wish that they could bring back their customer service phone number. Otherwise, they are amazing. Thank you Lessons.com! *********************** Happy teacher with your service.
