I used Homeaglow to schedule cleaning services. I had one cleaner late cancel, one cleaner no show, and one cleaner charge me for a four hour cleaning when they were only here for three hours. I emailed customer service to let them know Id like to cancel my membership without the cancellation fee because they had not lived up to the description. They responded that they could not waive the cancellation fee but they could offer me a free cleaning and a free month. When I thanked them for their offer but said no thank you, they responded with the same offer again. I told them again I would be canceling and I would just pay the fee. When I went online to pay the cancellation fee, it would not process my cancellation. It only gave me the option to continue the service. I reached out to customer service once again, letting them know I had been unable to cancel. They responded that the card associated with my account had insufficient funds. This was not the case. A credit card, not at its max limit, was on file. It was the same credit card they had charged for four different fees just two days prior. I am still waiting for them to assist me in canceling my membership, even with agreeing to pay the cancellation fee.Business Response

I hired a Homeaglow cleaner starting in March 2025. After finding out that she has not been providing all the cleaning services she is supposed to provide, I called Homeaglow to stop the service. Homeaglow claims that when I used their service using their voucher, that activated a 6-month membership. I was not informed of that. Their ad also states that membership can be cancelled anytime. However. I was told that if I stop before the period of 6 months, I have to pay $150 cancellation fee. This company is so guilty of false advertising and does not check to make sure their cleaners perform the services they are supposed to offer. The cleaner did not bring her own cleaning supplies when shes supposed to. She did not clean the bedroom and did not dust the window *****. Homeaglow suggested that I inform the cleaner and her response when I mentioned that she never cleaned/ vacuumed the bedroom was Wow! I thought the bedroom is private. What an answer- she didnt even apologize. Homeaglow is a business that deceives clients with false advertising. DO NOT USE.Business Response

On 7/21/25 I had my home cleaned by Home Aglow. The following day (7/22/25) an additional charge of $49 from Home AGlow showed on by bank card. HomeAGlow charged me for a 6 month cleaning program with them which I never asked for nor was consulted. I immediately cancelled it! In addition Home AGlow stated they would charge a cancellation fee equivalent up to what youd pay for 6 months of cleaning! How can they get away with charging me for something I never signed up for? Its a shame that Home AGlow is sinking their own business as their cleaning itself is very good just poor, very poor management!Business Response

Dear ******* ********* ****,
This is our response to your complaint submitted on 7/23/2025 and was assigned an ID of ********.
I'm sorry to hear that the terms of your voucher was not clear to you. Please know that we've made every effort for the terms and conditions to be visible upon purchase and it was never our intention to mislead our customers.
Meanwhile, please be aware that the 3-hour voucher you purchased came with a ForeverClean membership, which will start once you completed a cleaning. It will cost you a monthly membership fee of $49 (tax may apply) with a minimum commitment term of 6 paid months. The membership fee is billed separately from your cleaning cost and is due immediately upon renewal, regardless of whether a cleaning was done that month. Your card will be charged automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle, and the fee is non-refundable. An Early Termination Fee will apply if you cancel before 6 paid months. If you'd like to revisit our autorenewal and cancellation terms, click here: *********************************************
Since we value you as our customer, we have applied the following adjustments to your account:
Reduced your monthly membership fee by 25%from $49.00 to $36.75 (excluding applicable taxes)
Shortened your minimum commitment from 6 paid months to 4 months (youve completed 1, so just 3 remain)
If youd still prefer to cancel, you can do so here:

In early July I signed up for a one time cleaning. There was no clear explanation that this was a mandatory 6 month membership requiring $49 per month Plus any additional cleaning fees. I contacted the company to ******. They refused and want to charge me $150 for the mandatory membership. I even tried to use their service - tried to book a top rated cleaner in my city. Provided 2 dates and times when he showed available on his schedule. There was no response. I tried to cancel again and the company refused to waive the cancellation fee of $150. This company is a scam. Deceptive advertising. Fraudulent. They **** you in and then dont provide the service and want to charge $150 to cancel. Stay away.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: the email sent refers me to a website that wants to charge me $147 to cancel my membership. This was due to deceptive advertising and in fact is fraudulent. I made a good faith effort to use their services. I booked an initial cleaning, the cleaner was very basic and didnt do very much. Nevertheless, I tried again to book a top cleaner - with 2 dates and times - at the time that cleaner showed available. He didnt respond and no cleaning was provided. So after multiple attempts and good faith efforts, i requested to cancel. Yet this company wants to charge me $147 to cancel. I respectfully request to cancel at no further charge since I have already paid for 1 cleaning and 1 month membership.

Complaint Summary:Homeaglow contractor caused permanent damage to multiple appliances and left my home in disarray. Company failed to take full responsibility beyond a basic refund.Complaint Details:On July 17, 2025, I booked a 4-hour cleaning through Homeaglow. The assigned cleaner (Bria) left my apartment in disarray and caused significant damage to multiple appliances. Without my permission, he used an oven cleaner on my stainless steel and plastic appliances, including a $600 Breville Espresso Machine, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and stovetop. The result: melted finishes, erased labeling, pitted surfaces, and permanent discoloration. The espresso machine is completely ruined.I attempted to contact the cleaner, but both phone numbers he used were disconnected. He finally responded via the Homeaglow portal and admitted it was his "first day" and that he used the wrong product, leaving it on "too long."In addition to the appliance damage, he left a sticky film on all furniture and failed to clean agreed-upon areas. I also discovered a damaged vertical blind, which had been removed and hidden in the corner of the room.Homeaglow issued a refund for the cleaning and canceled my membershipbut then asked me to submit repair quotes in order to pursue a damage claim. These items are not realistically repairable; most would need to be replaced entirely. As a renter, I now face potential liability for the damages.Resolution Sought:I am requesting full reimbursement for the permanently damaged appliances. I would also like written confirmation that my Homeaglow account is closed and no further charges or communications will occur.Business Response

I signed up for Homeaglow under the impression that I was enrolling in a free trial membership on 6/19/2025, with the clear understanding that I could cancel at any time within the first month to avoid being charged a membership fee with no cancellation fee. This was clearly stated during the sign-up ********** the cancellation deadline approached, I attempted to cancel by both email and phone. No one responded to my emails, and when I called, I was hung up on after mentioning I wanted to cancel. This is in ***** contrast to earlier interactions, where Homeaglow had been very responsive, typically replying within 2448 hours.Despite my efforts, I was charged a membership fee. When I tried to cancel my membership through their website, it presented a $99 cancellation fee, which was never disclosed at the time of sign-up. I feel misled and am disappointed with the lack of transparency and the unresponsiveness once I attempted to cancel.I am requesting a full refund of the membership fee and confirmation that my membership has been completely cancelled with no additional charges moving forward.Business Response

I cancelled my subscription with this company immediately after the 1-year subscription period expired because the service quality was poor and did not meet expectations. Despite my cancellation, the company continues to automatically book cleaning appointments without my consent. I have had to manually cancel each unwanted appointment, which is burdensome and entirely inappropriate after *************** make matters worse, the company:Provides no phone number to reach a live representative,Does not allow removal of credit card information from the customer account,Recently charged me a late cancellation fee for an appointment I never requested or scheduled. This is a predatory practicecontinuing to act as if I am a paying customer and penalizing me for not accepting services I never ordered.I am requesting a full refund of the improper cancellation fee, a complete removal of my account and payment information, and confirmation that no further charges or appointments will be made under my name.Business Response
