      Self has done amazing things to help me build my credit. I started with a non-existent credit file, but within 4 months, I now have a 598 credit score!!! I definitely recommend subscribing to the $6.95/mo bill reporting as well. It did wonders for me and I'm sure that they will do the same for you!!!??????

      Its OK, but when I get to a certain amount, I could be a self credit card or with my credit up because the way yall doing it is not working. I need to hit at least 800 credit so I could do another credit card but anyway it is what it is

      Self Financial charged me $104 for a loan account I never opened. I have never created an account with them, yet I was suddenly being billed and scheduled for ongoing charges. When I contacted them, they told me I must have used a different email addressbut I could not access or cancel the account because I supposedly no longer had access to this unknown address. Their support line doesnt actually allow you to speak to a human and only redirects you back to email, which is unhelpful and circular. I was stuck in a loop of automated messages while money was actively being withdrawn from my account.The only help they provided was telling me to recover an account using an email I never usedwhich is impossible if someone else created the account using my ******************** info. *** requested a refund, account deletion, and confirmation that nothing is being reported to the credit bureaus. So far, no action.Self Financial is not secure, not transparent, and not trustworthy. If this is how they build credit, its through shady practices and inescapable billing traps. *** filed a complaint with the **** and recommend others do the same. Consumers deserve better.
