    I write today regarding a severely disturbing and ongoing matter with Loan Sciences, a student loan lender who has utilized questionable and accusatory practices against myself as a borrower and a myriad of other borrowers, as evidenced by the exorbitant number of complaints against this company submitted herein.On January 9, 2025, after a FEMA Declared ***** Disaster in my home (residence) ************* due to the Los Angeles county wildfires, FEMA-declared on January 8, 2025 -- affecting my habitability and employment as a private contracted travel nurse -- I requested a Natural Disaster forbearance from this servicer, who approved and applied this forbearance only to again remove this forbearance arbitrarily, without cause and causing my loan to go delinquent. This company has thus far refused to contact me directly -- causing me severe financial hardship by engaging in deceptive, abusive tactics while the Borrower (myself) continues to suffer severe effects related to the ****-declared Natural Disaster To note, I have filed at least five (5) Complaints with the **** over the last six months alone -- all of which the company responds to with the same scripted response, or ignores outright. Notably, the company (Loan Science) refuses to acknowledge or accept the fact that as a travel nurse, it is customary for us to relocate as often as every ***** weeks based on our assignments -- even in lieu of me providing this information multiple times and a copy of my state Nursing license(s). Both ************************************* (their servicer) instead utilizes this as a reason (address changes due to said work as a travel Nurse) to deny my forbearance requests after approving & applying said forbearances to my loans -- again causing my loans to fall delinquent, after approving & applying said approvals (letters of approval attached herein). Kindly contact me urgently to aid in this matter's resolution, as this matter remains extremely time-emergent.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Loan Science continues to circumvent the fact that my employ as a TRAVEL NURSE stipulates that we relocate sometimes as often as every 6 weeks based on assignment. It is absolutely preposterous that this company has accused me of trying to utilize a natural disaster for my own benefit without any merit to do so. Loan Science has engaged in spiteful, abusive tactics against me as a borrower in denying this forbearance when all other private lenders have aided me in these forbearances without issue and without the absolutely arduous and accosting process which Loan Science places me through. 

    I therefore demand urgent and immediate contact from Loan Sciences ****** ****** prior to commencing further actions as noted in my previous correspondence.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Loan Science continues to attempt every avenue to deflect my status as a travel nurse and obviously does not understand the role of such. 

    There have been no threats made to Loan Science but rather simple requests to honor the same forbearance that every other lender has honored utilizing the exact same information which Loan Science and Loan Science alone has deemed invalid without merit. Furthermore the servicer has stated that Loan Science is who I must reach out to in order to facilitate approval of this and any forbearance for natural disaster a **** declared natural disaster in my residence city and zip code. Therefore, I must demand that Loan Science either honor this request for natural disaster forbearance for the Los Angeles wildfires **** declared ***** Disaster on January 8, 2025, or provide clear information as to what will be accepted to approve such. I am amenable to providing my next least (beginning 2/25) and any other documentation although Loan Science refuses to contact me directly. 

    This matter remains time urgent and unresolved.

    9/27/2024 Dear Mr. ****** ****************** Senior Management:On September 10, 2024, I requested an urgent call from *********************************************** on behalf of Loan Science (my lender), as after many month of waiting ****************** finally Backdated a requested Natural Disaster forbearance from April 19-July 26, 2024. However, during these three months I was making full payments on these loans, rendering me still due for the three months of relief during this time. To note, during the months of April - July 2024, I was making the full monthly installments on all loans even though my forbearance was back dated to cover these months for the Natural Disaster FEMA declared April 2024. Regrettably I am still now (September 2024) showing past due for one or more loans, and I am therefore still owed the three months relief for said dates or a refund for payment made during a time which said loans were supposed to be in the natural Disaster forbearance (April - July 2024). Kindly contact me urgently to ensure that I am bestowed the three months of relief for the aforementioned months of April - July 2024 (as again, I was making all payments during these months and am owed either three months relief going forward OR refund for the months noted herein due to being in said forbearance status). On 9/18/2024, ****************** approved a Natural Disaster forbearance on my Loan Science loans as requested only to get again reneging on said approval on 9/27/24 grossly unacceptable and causing my account to go past due, after their approval posted to my account on 9/18/24. This matter is egregiously unacceptable, and ********* continues to harass, accost and neglect my requests for senior management contact and the placement of this forbearance meriting urgent and immediate escalation at this time. Thank you kindly for your immediate contact and I look forward to resolving this matter fully and urgently.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    It is preposterous that Loan Science and ******************* would on multiple occasions place a forbearance on ones student loans without doing their due diligence sending a written notice of approval which must be honored. Further, I have supplied an exorbitant amount of documentation as requested by First **** and have reiterated my status of a travel Nurse (private duty) and have supplied my California nursing license in addition to multiple other documents as requested.

     

    Notably rather than aid an ailing borrower First **** and Loan Science continue to arbitrarily deny my forbearance requests for said Natural Disaster(s) even in lieu of this extensive information and multiple placements of forbearances only to remove them days later as the companies do not do due diligence in placing said forbearances. I presently await the immediate placement of a Natural Disaster forbearance for the aforementioned California Bridge Fire, which is denoted in my current county of residence as noted on my submitted Drivers license ID to ****************** (******************). As I travel often for the nature of my work as a travel Nurse, I have noted this several times in multiple communications.

    Kindly Escalate this matter urgently to Loan Science senior management **** ******) and ******************* senior management for immediate placement of said Forbearance, pursuant to said previous terms and the exorbitant documentation and narratives provided in this ongoing and arduous matter.

    Co-signer student loan for nephew and he has automated vdedction from checking account and they stating he is several pastdue and they are harassing **!!

    ******************* is the co-borrower for a Climb Credit loan. Loan Science works on behalf of Climb Credit to perform third party collections for Climb Credits delinquent accounts. ****************************** (***) is the loan servicer for ********************** loan. Loan Science receives data from *** when a borrowers account is delinquent. Loan Science does not contact borrowers unless they have delinquent balances on their account.

    After researching ********************** account in the *** payment portal, it was determined that the loan accounts balance was delinquent in February and March 2023 due to unpaid late fees and delinquent in May and June 2023 due to non-payment and a returned payment. Additionally, it was determined that neither ******************** nor the borrower are enrolled in automatic payments. ******************** and the borrower have made all payments via *** and have not made any payments with Loan Science.

    In response to ********************** request for a correction of credit reporting, Loan Science cannot comply with this request due to the fact that Loan Science does not report to credit bureaus. Any issue with ********************** credit report will need to be handled by *** or Climb Credit.

    Loan Science has not violated any regulations regarding the communication frequency for ******************** or the borrower.

    Loan Science contacted ******************** on the following dates:
    (1) 07/16/23: Loan Science sent ******************** a debt validation letter per Regulation F 1006.34.
    (2) 07/24/23, 8/2/23: Loan Science called ******************** but ******************** did not answer.
    (3) 08/08/23: Loan Science called ******************** and spoke with her.

    Loan Science contacted the borrower on the following dates:
    (1) 07/16/23: Loan Science sent the borrower a debt validation letter per Regulation F 1006.34.
    (2) 08/01/23, 8/7/23: Loan Science called the borrower but the borrower did not answer.

    Due to ********************** claim of harassment, she and the borrower have been removed from Loan Sciences contact lists. No further contact from Loan Science will occur.
