Sept 2021 I found ***************************** on Invisalign's website. At the 1st appt on 9/13, he let me know he uses ******* instead. On 9/30 I started the process and was told my case required the most expensive tier, amounting to $4,950. At the end of 20 weeks (2/21), my initial patient goals were not achieved, but ****************** claimed his goal of "orthodontic perfection" was achieved. He explained my goals could not be achieved since my teeth should be bigger, my gum line is too low, and that I would need braces and extensive surgery to achieve my initial goals. Since I was still paying for the service I asked about other minor tweaks to at least straighten the teeth since his "orthodontic perfection" goal did not feel accomplished either. On 3/7 I called his office to let them know I did not want the effort of the additional refinements since they would not correct the main issues. I called ******* the same day to have them stop production of the additional aligners. ******* offered me a full refund to be processed. 3/9 I went to ********************* office to have the 9 adhered tooth-colored material removed from my teeth. When I called ******* on 3/16 to follow up, I was told the process is completed and a refund wasn't available. I told them Trivedi explained the process could not be done with clear aligners and sent over photos of my teeth prior to the procedure and current photos to show the patient goals were not achieved. The company escalated the issue to a supervisor and a territory manager, who informed the doctor of the refund process on 3/22. On 3/24, ******* let me know the refund is up to the doctor's ********** to return the funds since they pay doctors upfront, and that the doctor moved forward with ordering more aligners claiming we were 90% done. Since my last appt (3/9), I have not been provided any after-care instruction nor a retainer. I am seeking a refund for current out-of-pocket expenses of $825 ($937.50 on 4/2) and a close out of the financing account.
