I ordered a ring on March 20th, 2024 that was going to be created that contained cremated remains. I was sent a kit to ship back the cremated ashes, so my sentimental ring I selected could be made. Upon receiving the kit to ship back, I had to pay $30 to send it back. Upon looking online at the ring I originally chose, the ashes were very visible in the display photos. It looked much brighter and exactly what I had wanted. Upon receiving the ring, it was barely visible at all to see any sort of cremated remains. There was a few little small specs but nothing like the picture. When I emailed Spirit pieces, they proceeded to tell me that the individual who created the ring, had made two rings and they tried to do the best that they could, but with the type of ring, it was hard to see. I proceeded to tell them that it did not look like the pictures which is what I was expecting, and what I paid for. I requested a refund, and they declined. They stated that I could purchase another ring (only gave me select few other options to choose from) and offered to give me a 50% off coupon. I told them that is not what I wanted, because I wanted the one that I had paid for, And it did not turn out how it was displayed on their website. They proceeded to tell me That they could not refund me, and all they could offer was 50% off another type of ring, but I would still have to pay more money. I am requesting to have this business reimburse me for what I paid for considering The object of purchase, not as displayed/promised. This was supposed to be a very sentimental purchase and now cremated remains, went to waste for a purchase that was not lived up to its expectations.
