Owner told my wife they do a great job on windows, very professional, clean etc... expensive but worth it. She left the house while he and his crew to finished job, no one was home while they worked. We got home and to say the job was terrible is an understatement, it was pathetic. Our housekeeper asked if we had done the windows, she said it was the worse window cleaning she'd ever seen. The windows were smudged, thresholds weren't wiped, water spots weren't removed, screens weren't done, it was obvious squeegees weren't used because of the 'wipe' marks. I feel like a 14 year old with 5 minutes of instruction could have done a better job. My wife asked me to talk to them to resolve the issue since my credit card had already been charged. Owner was supposed to arrive at 8am, arrived 2 hours later, causing me to reschedule 2 appointments, so was I in a good mood when he arrived, heck no. At the same time I wasn't abusive, direct yes. He wasted my time/money on the job and then at the follow-up appointment. I told him that all he had to do was do the downstairs rear windows, tried to show him pictures since the sun wasn't out, wipe the thresholds and get the water spots on 2 windows and we'd be good. He said OK walked out and then 5 minutes later came back to the door and said that he wasn't going to do what he'd agreed to do. I said fine, cancel the payment, he said you have to do that, so I called my bank, wasted 20-30 more minutes filing a dispute with my credit card company. The owner has now threatened a lien on house, continues to waste our time and aggravate us. I'm hoping he drops his harassment and moves on. If not we WILL seek every form of disposition we are allowed by law to remedy the situation including attorney fees and costs. At minimum his work and subsequent promises represent a breach of contract for not performing as promised either initially or after he told me he would fix the problems on the 1st floor rear windows only. Gave him an easy way to maintain full payment, he agreed to do it and then failed to perform. He forfeited any monies owed when he failed to follow through with his agreed to resolution. Gregg S****
