Disappointing Experience Price Changed Without Explanation I recently contacted this dealership about a vehicle that was clearly listed at a specific price on both their official website and multiple third-party auto listing sites. I was told I would receive a call back, which I didonly to be informed during that call that the price had increased.I respectfully explained that I was ready to move forward with the purchase based on the original advertised price and asked if they would honor it. Unfortunately, they refused. Its concerning when a dealership advertises one price to attract interest and then increases it once a potential buyer expresses serious intent. This experience has left me questioning the integrity and transparency of their pricing practices. I believe its important for businesses to honor publicly listed prices or at the very least offer a clear and honest explanation for any ********** sharing this experience so others can be aware and proceed with caution.

Nov 25, 2024 I set an appointment for an oil change at Vandergriff Hyundai and the Service Representative also recommended the multi-point inspection which revealed that I needed the following:Inner and outer tie rods replacements, Brake job which included replacing the pads and resurfacing the rotors, Brake system with suspension component and brake fluid exchangeFour new tires with alignment and mounting/balancing, Full synthetic oil and cabin filter exchange, fuel service package, inspection of air conditioning system The total amount for the services was $3,739.51 and I paid to have the services performed.Jan 3, 2025 I took my vehicle back to Vandergriff Hyundai because my brake lights and interior lights would not go off after the car was turned off. The lights being on all night understandable complete drained my battery. I had the battery jumped in order to drive it to the dealership. The Service Representative checked the vehicle in and told me a multi-point inspection would be performed, and he would let me know what the results were. I attempted to explain to the Representative that I just had several repairs and the multi-point inspection done in Nov 2024, but he stated that another inspection was needed. I didnt understand that because I rarely drive my vehicle so in order to get it checked in I authorized the inspection. Please be advised that the inspection had several of the same items, that were allegedly performed in Nov 2024! The unbelievable and excessive quote he gave me, was for $11,001.19, and I respectfully declined those services! I paid for the services that were needed, and the reason I brought the vehicle there in the first place for the lights not going off, causing the draining of my battery. I also purchased windshield wipers as I realized those needed to be replaced. The services I paid for were in the amount of $387.07 for a new battery, windshield wipers, and the Brake pedal stopper!

November 2024 we bought a car for our 15-year. Beware ended up having to spend thousands more once we got the car home. I have sent the general manager two emails with no response at all. What general manager would not even respond to a customer that just bought a car from them?? Here is the email I sent to the General manager ****..?****,I am writing to you to share my recent experience at your dealership and suspect that you are unaware and would not condone the interactions post sale. As a ****************** company I also suspect that you pride yourself on your customer experience. We purchased a used 2021 **** A5 a few weeks ago from your dealership. My husband flew down from ** and drove the vehicle back. He was told by your salesperson that your mechanic had been through the car completely and everything was perfect (for 79k miles). That is after they called him the night before and told him that the drivers window gear mechanism was broken and he could either drive the car back (8hrs) with the window down or wait until the following Tuesday when your team could obtain the part and fix it. My husband then searched, found, purchased and delivered the part to you when he flew in. Incredibly, he then had to pay another $300 for your mechanic to install it!Now comes the good partall the way home he heard air coming in through that fixed window. Upon arriving home we brought the car to an **** dealer here in *********** to do an expert once-over. Their results were that the window mechanism was improperly installed and charged us again to have it properly installed. They then delivered the news that the whole undercarriage was missing, parts were cracked and/or had sensors not working to the tune of $5300.I called your sales manager and his response was that the undercarriage has nothing to do with the engine being in great working order and that these issues are part of purchasing a used car. (Not the end but not given enough space to continue this fyi)

Service was very spotty. Made me wait several times for financial details as we negotiated, and upped the price after I arrived at the dealership. During negotiations I was lied to several times. Horrible experience, and I'll never use them or recommend their services.

I made the regrettable decision of purchasing two vehicles from this dealership, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory, particularly with the most recent purchase of my 2019 Hyundai Tucson. Regrettably, this vehicle has presented numerous issues. The foremost concern is an issue that renders the car exceptionally vulnerable to theft, making it nearly impossible to procure insurance coverage elsewhere. Despite the dealership's efforts to address this through a recall, the problem persists. Furthermore, the engine has proven to be a persistent source of trouble. Since I have purchased this vehicle, my engine has continuously consumed oil at an abnormal rate. Records show that I was consistent with oil changes and upkeep, though the problems persisted. Despite being under warranty, repeated visits to the dealership failed to identify any issues initially. I was given back my vehicle after flushing and testing, only for my oil to be fully consumed in between oil changes at only 2500 miles. ** my most recent oil change, I was notified that the engine was bad and needed to be replaced. My vehicle was only at ****** miles! Hyundai refused to do additional testing and notified me that it would be $1000 to complete this again. ** seeking recourse, I attempted to explore a trade-in option with Hyundai, hoping to mitigate the losses incurred. However, despite my status as a loyal and repeat customer, the dealership was unwilling to offer a fair trade-in value, compounding the frustration and disappointment associated with this ordeal. After all, I would not have been there in the first place if my vehicle was running fine. Hyundai lost a loyal customer, as I took my business to another dealership. ** light of these experiences, I would suggest that buyers exercise caution when considering transactions with Hyundai. Despite their appearance of professionalism, the reality of their product quality and customer service falls far short of expectations.

Drove 4 hours for to this dealership, was told no less than $17k for my car after sending pictures and all. Finance brings paper back with only $13k and then $3.3k in tax savings (they claim they are giving me that from their money pot) then another $11k in dealer fees. Ridiculous things people mention below. So a $45k used truck went up $65k. Not too mention it went up online too as I was making the drive. Move on and negotiate and finance manager was just very rude, I asked for contact info and was blown off. I also had told them before I drove up I was approved with my credit union. After they couldnt beat their rates they were like well we dont accept outside financing. I wouldnt have made the drive had that transparency been there. We spoke with **** and voiced our concerns. He tried to make things right.. got me in my car for what I wanted. Then ******** took 5 days to send us our signed contracts. Which he snuck a $4.7k protection plan on there that I swear was not listed on the docusign and I specifically told him I didnt want. Many times. To top it off, they wouldnt give me my temp tags until I left a 5 star review on ******* I even had to screen shoot it and send it to my sales guy to show them. Basically bullying you into a false review which cant be legal or ethical. Id recommend staying away.

Purchased my vehicle from Vandergriff roughly a month ago, and unbeknownst to me the car had completely dry rotted tires that were 6-8 years old, i attempted to discuss this issue with them as i transport my kids in this car, and had a tire go flat on the highway the other day, all they had to tell me was they were not responsible for the issue since i had driven the car off the lot and had 0 regard for me or my childrens safety. The car was completely miss represented upon sale due to inclement weather. Defintely do not recommend purchasing a car from somewhere that only cares about getting the sale and has 0 regard for the safety and well being of the customers they are selling to

I received an online quote to sell my car to Vandergriff Hyundai. My vehicle had absolutely no mechanical issues and was running great prior to arriving to the dealership. The appraiser who assessed my vehicle test drove it and while he was driving it, all of a sudden the check engine light came on and the car started idling rough. I was in utter disbelief and furious. Basically, he caused damage to my engine while he was test driving it and would not take ownership of causing the issue. Instead, tried to find any excuse to blame it on the vehicle (ie. has vehicle recently been serviced, battery disconnected, etc,..). They claim I had cleared codes to hide issues. I gave them the opportunity to help me understand that even had codes been previously present (which would be due to problem), to explain to me how clearing codes would also fix the rough idling issue that wasn't there ever and definitely not there when I came to the dealership but is there after the test drive. Response was more non-sense excuses. I had the issue repaired after I visited the dealer. All due respect, the mechanic stated the part that had to be repaired may have been weak but aggressive driving would accelerate the part to fail. Unfortunately, I was so irate, I wanted to leave the dealership and didnt ask to speak to a manager. However, the General Manager sent me an email after my visit stating to share my experience with him and would reach out to me with further assistance. I shared my experience and still have not heard from him. Shame on Vandergriff for not taking accountability of causing damage to my car while in their possession and not offering anything to make it right. Be careful in any business dealings with Vandergriff Hyundai as this dealership certainly demonstrates they do not act with integrity.

Worst buying experience ever don't purchase here. Picked it up a week later said the noise was nothing to find out they Sold me a Hyundai Tucson 2022 with tons of issues. Bent wheel hub. Shocks and strut issue and wheel bearing. Don't see how this passed inspection to sell it. Wasn't fixed took it back waited 2 weeks still wheel bearings not fixed. Had it 2 days got stranded at work towed it won't reimburse me for the tow! Only had it a month and drove it 12 days total. Got the run around the whole time. Traded it in for something else felt I had no other choice at this point and Ripped me off **** dollars and wasted 2k on a down payment for the 1st car. Never again! Sales could care less its all about the sale not you! Reached out multiple times to the owner don't bother no reply or call backs. Don't buy here I regret ever going there!
