      I am extremely disappointed with my experience with DR *********************** a company that failed to follow through on their promises and showed a lack of accountability. Despite paying for a Smart Panel upgrade, it was never installed in my new home. I spent two frustrating years trying to get this issue resolved, only to be met with blaming of vendors and inaction.The lack of communication and responsibility from DR **********************'s team was astonishing. Even after escalating the issue to the ** of Phoenix, I received no resolution. It's unacceptable for a company to ignore their customers' concerns and fail to fix or refund their money for unfulfilled services.DR **********************'s actions demonstrate a clear disregard for customer satisfaction and loyalty. I would caution others from trusting this company with their home purchases, as they may face similar disappointments. It's essential to prioritize reliability and accountability when choosing a home builder.I hope this review helps others make informed decisions and encourages DR ********************** to reflect on their customer servicepractices.

      I bought in *********** Colo before closing told them about the crack in the floor in the garage and the heavy chipping and stains in the driveway was told by the ** I would be fix . Called the warranty and they said it should be fixed but need it ***** for better weather just before the one year was up they talked me in to doing a meracoat coating on the driveway they said it would fix the problem and would look good I asked how long it would last I was told it should last ten years at lest here it is 1-1/2 years later and it is flaking off I call the warranty department and was told it was out of warranty. This fix was there way of not fixing the problem the ****** way ************** time. Is now it is my fault for trusting them .

      Poor builder, poor customer service, poor communication, poor follow up, Construction defects, water intrusion, floors cracking, roof leaks, windows cracked, code violations pertaining to building process, roof vents improperly installed therefore water damage, and poor customer service. **************** not being honored and in fact refusal to fix warranty items such as cracked floors, Cracked windows, cracked shower, back slider doesnt work, roof leak kitchen cabinets broken, walls cracking, air conditioner not working and still ongoing. They refuse to respond as we are still in warranty window. Stay away from this builder.

      DR ********************** and its reps are absolutely no help and do not care about customer experience.I was sold a smart home which is advertised as having the following: video doorbell, iq panel, alarm.com app, pro z wave thermostat, echo dot, kwikiset door entry, and the deako switches.Recently found out that ALL of my neighbors in my community except me and a 2-3 others, do not have the user friendly deako switches. Was told by people within the company I should have these switches then was told an electrician would be out to install all the switches. Waited for 2 weeks all for them to say they will not be addressing this issue after it was already promised. Divisionally they were not helping, when I attempted going to corporate, they told me they will not override the local division. I work for a builder and know for a fact, that is not true.The lack of care and support has been baffling. Will be telling anyone I know to NEVER buy from this homebuilder and will be getting lawyers involved. Extremely disappointed.

      Perched my home at *************** in ******** **. In 2020, the houses was built in 2019. I was the first owner of this property. I had nothing but headaches and stress since moving into this property.The property looks awesome on the outside but was cheaply built with both materials and contractors, very low quality of material. After the firs couple of months things keep falling apart, now I'm 4 years in and i just replaced my whole roof the ******** around the property. Be aware and do research when purchasing from this builder.

      We just moved into our home in ********************* in *****, ******* have had some problems like the door from house into garage doesnt close until we close it. We had a sewerage leak into our base rooms from a cracked pipe (but Horton did get plumber out right away). The worst thing is there is no ***************** seems to be helping(no one in our block has internet. There is no excuse for this. Sorry we bought here. I know I will get the same printed response as everyone else. Think twice about Horton before you buy.

      ******** services are provided by your local internet service provider who establishes their schedules based upon their resources. Unfortunately, D.R. ********************** cannot schedule those services for our homeowners.

      We just bought a home from D.R. ********************** in **********, **. They have a Superintendent working for ***m in this area who purposely backed up his truck to ask our children who were innocently playing some personal and innappropriate questions like "how old are you?" "where do you live?" "Are you from here?" "what are you guys doing today?" He pulled up close and pretty much had ***m pinned to *** curb. I approached his truck asking him why he was talking to my child & ano***r child in *** neighborhood. He got very defensive. I told him he had no right asking ***m any personal questions or getting so close to ***m like that. He responded "that's your opinion." What???!! This is my child!! He was ***n approached by two dads in *** who told him to leave *** children alone. He refused to leave. He was creeping around *** homes that were finished instead of being over where he should have been Superintending where *** new homes were still being built. I called *** police who came out and told him to stay away from *** children. After *** police left he continued to drive right by ***m and harass ***m. I called Corporate H.R. and spoke with ************** who assured me he at minimum he would not be allowed back in *** neighborhood and that it was unacceptable. Well, 12 weeks later we spotted him back in *** neighborhood where he out of he sped off when he saw us video taping him. I called ************** in H. R. once more. This time she almost seemed to be sticking up for him??? I sent her *** videos, sheriff report case # and photos and have not heard back from ***** despite her promise. I have reached out to her for follow up. I am now being ignored. I am appalled that D.R. ********************** seems to want to sweep this under *** rug! I am under *** impression that America's Home Builder does not care about taking care of ***ir clients and does give a darn about *** safety of our children by keeping this **************** Superintendent employed! He is a huge liability but ***y don't care. Beware!!

      Bought a new home. After moving in the ground started settling on the south side. They cam and back filled. One year later the Noth side the ground settled over 9 inches. DR ********************** refuced to come and fix the issue stating that the settling was not over they limit and that the warranty had expired.

      I bought brand new in 2021, was told 6-8 months build time, it quickly became 18 months to complete the build. Lots of issues during the build process, multiple pieces of warped wood that I had to battle with the office to tell the construction manager about, then they send some young kid who doesn't care about being there to look at it. When I finally did move into the house, more and more things kept coming to light about how fast and crappy they put the house together, some doors don't even close now because of how much the house "settled" I have had to redo the strike plates in my front door and 2 of the rooms in order for them to even shut properly, let alone lock. Cabinets were supposed to be brand new, but scratches and dings are all over the place (I pointed this out in my final walkthrough) and they said it's passed their standards so nothing they can do. I had 2 holes cut for airflow passageways, but no vents just 2 massive rectangle cutouts above both my spare rooms, and they didn't even bother to clean up their mess. Drywall all over the tile and carpet. Paint is gritty and scuffs extremely easily and the only to clean it is to repaint. Using any kind of scrubbing takes the paint off entirely. Overall this house is built like ****, it was put together in less than 2 months and was extremely rushed. I will never buy anything of DR ********************** again, they've showed me they cannot do the job they promised nor fix the jobs they have messed up and been made aware of.

      We moved into our brand new, freshly built DR ********************** home 3 months ago. During the final walk through, my fianc and I were still flagging things that needed to be fixed by the builder -- cracked molding, molding separating from the wall, chipped cabinets, etc. -- and they claimed that they would fix it. 3 months later, we have had our door k**** constantly falling off, our doors won't shut, the molding on the stairs is getting worse (we were told the house is settling), we never got our cabinets that were promised, and our bathtub has a giant crack running through it. I reached out about the bathtub and they said that it's not covered under the warranty and sent me some maintenance instructions to do it myself. We are going to have to replace our tub in our brand new house. Not only are we having problems, our neighbor's front door completely fell off, another's brand new dryer that they installed doesn't work, and that's only the things that I have been told about. When our back door k*** fell off and we called about it (I know we could fix it, I was just mad at the volume of times we had had to fix it in such a short time), the builders were furious at us for calling, did not want to show up to do anything about it, and complained when we finally convinced them to show up. I am new to home buying, so maybe this is standard treatment and expectations, but it seems ridiculous to me that we will have to buy a new bathtub 3 months into a brand new house and have all of these problems. I am honestly terrified for what will happen next.
