    I purchase autos (Solstice and ********* and receive financing from LibertyOne FCU, I paid off the Solstice but not the ******** due to a personal financial hardship and being without a job due to illness during the pandemic (COVID). I communicated with both the President and VP (located in *********/****** **), asking them to release the title of the Solstice that was paid off, so that I could sell it and take the money to help pay off the ******** but the President ****** refused. They will not release my clear title for the Solstice I paid off and then they charged-off the ******** and is holding the title for that car also! The President ****** emailed me in January 2024 telling me to send them $10k + if I want the titles. The President **** and Liberty One FCU are also clearly in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. They neither accurately nor fairly reported my account to the ********************** Bureaus, now they have ruined my credit score and still holding my auto titles hostage. I cant do anything with either vehicle now, and the ******** was stolen and I have no proof of ownership. Because it has been over 4 years since the first missed payment on the ******** and charged-off, it is also now past the *********** Statute of Limitations of a fair/collectible debt; Yet they refuse to release my titles and are trying to still collect money on a debt they charged off for the ******** which I no longer have.

    I have been a member for several years and I have consistently received good service. I have noticed that the newer faces are not near as friendly and personable as they have been over the years. I want to suggest you consider looking in on this before we lose the main reason most of us remain and that is the relationships we have built with the tremendous employees who have worked there over the years. Please work to not lose that membership feeling we have come to rely in with LOCU.

There is no doubt that it has been challenging the last couple years as The Great Resignation that's been going on in our country has affected us too. We have worked hard to find good employees and train them to meet our standards, but we don't always succeed. You have my word though that we will continue to work hard to make sure every member contact is handled in a friendly, personable and professional manner.I assure you that your comments are not taken lightly and they are truly appreciated.
