1 starI had CR Plumbing come out to replace the cartridge in my shower. I was charged $247.50 for that trip less a senior discount in the amount of $12.38, so my total for that day was $235.12. Now I received another online bill for $444.75 for them to order the cartridge, come back out and install it which comes to a total of $679.87. Am I REMOVEDoff, you bet I am. Do not call this company for anything unless you want to have to get a loan to pay them .Whoever owns this company should be ashamed of themselves for overcharging people and getting away with it.Mad dogCR Plumbing, Air, and Electric

The follow-up visit and corresponding invoice covered the cost of sourcing the specialized replacement cartridge and the professional labor involved in reinstalling and testing it.All pricing is reviewed with customers and approved in writing before work proceeds, in keeping with our policy of clear communication and informed consent. 1 starThere are many plumbing companies in the area (REMOVED) to choose from. I found out the hard way that not all family run businesses are fair and honest. At times there will be misunderstandings between a business owner and a customer. How an owner handles this shows their true character. This particular owner would not call me back after 3 requests. When he finally called, he was right and I was wrong--no explanation warranted. He was rude and demeaning. He could have listened and then explained his reasons for double charging me, but instead he accused me of not wanting to pay for the services rendered and immediately went to "I will put a lien on your house". I requested a leak locator test in a sprinkler line under concrete. When they did the test, the technician only charged me $200 instead of the quoted $400+ as he felt it didn't warrant the full REMOVEDThey marked the leak on the concrete but when we cut the concrete it was not there. Water can be tricky and I understand that. I called them back out to do the test again--assuming that they would not charge for the second test since they failed to locate the leak correctly the first time. I was wrong. This time it was $438 in addition to the $200 I already paid. I was willing to pay the balance of $238 to pay the "whole" amount, but that was not acceptable. Also I requested 3 times for the owner to call me. He had everyone on his staff call me to avoid the situation. He was too busy to talk to the customer. He finally called and was awful from the get go. Save yourself the headache, go with anyone but CR Plumbing. I am going with another family run plumbing business. They are a true family run business that is honest, fair, and trustworthy. CR Plumbing just lost $3000 job and all out neighbors and friends that need a plumber, won't be referring to CR Plumbing for sure. One star rating only because there is not a lower rating.CR Plumbing, Air, and Electric
