This place is horrible!! I've been going to the ******* location for about 15 years now. It was at first 6 Day Dental and Ortho, and I loved it, My boys got their braces back then and the whole family received dental care here. Well, they bought out/taken over by Dental Care of Texas and the place has gone downhill. My daughter and I both have braces on our teeth. I got mine on in March 2016, my daughter in August 2018 and both were told treatment would be 2 1/2 years. This Mar will be 7 years for me and Aug 5 years for me daughter.. I still have an overbite and gaps from extracted teeth (more on this later). I'm on my third orthodontist, and every time a new one came, I got a new treatment plan. Prior to getting the braces on, I was told I'd needed to get 2 root **************** The first orthodontist said I didn't need any teeth pulled. I got the root canals (paid $2000 out my own pocket) and got the braces. Over a year later, the second orthodontist came. She treated me for over two years and then said, you need to get teeth extracted now. Which teeth? The two I paid for root canals and crowns. Was I charged for the extraction even though they originally told me to get the crowns? Yes! I have been asking for my records for 3 years now. I was told by ***** and Faith (who was the ortho mgr) that they got a new system and would have to request the records. I still have not received them. No one answers the phone if I call and choose the option of being an existing patient. I leave msg after msg trying to reschedule or notify them I need an appt for a broken bracket, and I get no answer or return call. I finally had to drive there (20 mins from my house) to set the appt. at which the front desk female said I could send her an email next time. I still have this same issue. I reported my poor treatment to the office manager, **** who told me she understands I'm upset, but she has patients to which I replied, I'm also a patient. I see why her staff are rude. She is.
