            Purchased a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit in August 2022 and paid $12,000.00. I live in ** but was visiting family in ** and saw the vehicle and looked at it and bought it. On the way home started having issues with the headlights going out and the check engine light came on. Called and let them know and they said to have it checked out and call with what the issue was. Found the catalytic converters were not factory and was told that if they were replaced by OEM parts with the local Chrysler dealer that it would take care of check engine light. It did not. I was told by another repair shop that the engine was gone. I have replaced that, this was due to engine overheating. Heated seats and backup camera has not worked. I have called several times and they have said maybe they could do a trade. No amounts have been discussed. Tried to call while in TN for Christmas and they have not returned my call. There is no way they did not know this vehicle had problems with as much as I have replaced. About $10,000 is what I have spent so far. And the air ride system will not stay aired up.

            I am very dissatisfied with this Dealer Service dept. On 1/5/24 I brought my 2018 RAM 2500 diesel truck into the service dept for an oil/filter change, tire rotation, a software error code preventing the updating of my entertainment console, and a factory recall notice for the emissions The initial services were completed including the recall which involved a software update. However, the entertainment console issue was not addressed. I returned on 1/8/24 to inquire about the missed issue and was told that it didnt appear on my initial requests for service but could addressed that day. The conclusion reached by their “technician” was that the radio was missing some lines of code (no idea how or when) and that a new radio was needed (800.00). I was told there were no software patches or previous editions to reload the software from to correct the lost code. I paid 110.00 for the evaluation, no repairs. I left and immediately upon entering the highway out front my ABS/electronic braking system warning light began turning on/off intermittently. I returned to the dealer (10 min) and after consulting with the “technician”, the service manager told me that this issue is contained a separate module than my other software modules and wanted to charge an additional 110.00 to evaluate this new issue. Total **! It wasn’t having intermittent ABS warnings prior to their recent evaluation. Their “technician” messed with something I am thinking starting with the emissions recall software updates. I am taking the vehicle to a different dealer to evaluate exactly what they did/didn’t do to cause the issue. I couldn’t believe they wanted another 110.00 to evaluate the issue right after messing with vehicle software for over an hour. No taking of responsibility at all. It wasn’t having this issue prior and they didn’t note it while they had it and drove it around.

            *** *****, I want to apologize for the communication issue between Jay, your Service Advisor, and yourself. Our Service Manager, Dave D*******, has not had a conversation with you which contradicts your statement in the review. This easily could have been resolved with a simple conversation with the Service Manager. After talking with Jay and Dave, it is probably best we both move on. I would be happy to recommend a couple of other RAM dealers for you if you would like. Best of luck.
