    On September 24, 2025, I brought my 2025 ***** CR-V EX-L to Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers for a routine oil change. The car was running perfectly prior to the service.During the service, a worker named GW asked me to start the car to check dashboard signals. Immediately after turning the car off, I heard unusual noises beneath the vehicle. When asked to start the car again, it would not start.The staff attempted to fix it for nearly two hours but were unsuccessful. I was asked to leave the car and key, and it remained in their custody for three days.Upon follow-up, the store manager confirmed that a fuse had blown and there were battery issues. I had to tow the car to a ***** dealership for diagnosis, with costs exceeding $4,000.Key Points The car was fully operational before service and had no prior electrical issues.A routine oil change does not involve fuses, wiring, or battery systems.The issue occurred while the car was in the shops care, indicating negligence or mishandling by staff.Mechanics have a duty to return vehicles in the same or better condition, which was not met.Requested Resolution Full reimbursement for diagnosis and repair costs resulting from the blown fuse and battery issues.Written acknowledgment of responsibility from Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers.
