I purchased an EFI system from ACES Fuel
Injection which took over 2 weeks to receive
because they were short on certain parts. Once
received, it was installed into a customer's
vehicle. It would not start. We called ACES to
resolve the issue in which we were told that the
wiring harness to the ignition coil was wired
wrong from the factory. They wanted us to send
the parts back for them to test it and they would
handle it from there. After arguing that this
vehicle was in my shop for weeks now they
stated nothing can be done. I ordered a new
phone by paying for it. The new coil came in
today to find out that it still won't start. Called
ACES and waited for a call back hours later to tell
us that now the whole system has to be taken off
and shipped back to them to test. It has now
been well over a month where I have a vehicle
stuck in my bay which is causing me thousands of
dollars in repairs and they will not do a thing
about it but telling me to disassemble everything
we did to ship it back to them to test. This is
absolutely ridiculous! I've been speaking with
    "****** ********* *** *********.

I purchased a Efi kit from this Aces fuel injection. In november 2023. Since then until last month fought to get the system to work, It states in All online descriptions it is self learning well for 3 or more months of emailing Tech service *** tried to help be could over phone. This efi kit also has ability to add sensors to monitor fuel or oil pressure. The problem here is it will read these pressures WITHOUT any of the sensors plugged in so $162.92 is a scam. I plugged it in and pressure readings never changed. Oil pressure was never connected to this kit, I use a manual gauge only power to it is for light bulb. At one time was suggested to take to a Mechanic that tunes these aftermarket systems. I did call ***** ***** **** ** ****** **. they wanted $1400. + as starting point. And they had never heard of this company, their words. The decision was made to return kit for tech's to install on their own car and test. that was weeks ago they still have this kit. And I have asked for a replacement or refund. At this point my 1 yr warranty is mostly gone so longer they keep it less warranty I have. At this point I just want refund.. I don't want the added stress this is putting me through. My health is enough stress to deal with. This was supposed to relive stress as a fun project. I am missing car show's I really wanted to attend with the car but Aces has only caused anxiety and stress not needed also not having car drivable since December still paying Insurance for car that sits in garage. I am considering an attorney also if a quick resolution is not found. Closing REFUND Me I will go away.

Date of transaction was 2023/14/12 and delivery was received on 2024/2/01 Tuesday at 5:00. Installation of the product was not immediately done. Is was a gift to a person. Work on installing the part start on 2024/26/01. There where problem immediately. Problem one was the timing recommended on the engine was wrong which can cause complete engine failure. That problem was solved by me and my technic not the company. The second problem was never solved which was the ignition box were burning out. To be more specific the coil drivers were burning out. That led to back and forth sending parts back and waiting mouths at a time. From 2024/26/01 to 2024/03/05 five mouths of down time and no permanent solution was found. They seem to want the customers to do R. And d for them. For free r and d Is an acronym for testing and improving product. So at this point I as for money to be returned and was denied. I can understand if had been a year but it has not been five mouths and there product failed to run more than a week on three different times. I'm just wanting my money refunded to me because I can't get down time and labor out of them.

On January 4th, 2024 I made an online purchase from the Aces Company electronic fuel injection unit for my vehicle, for $950 which was sold as a “self learning unit”. I paid a certified mechanic shop to install the unit, which was done to Aces specs. The unit never operated properly, my mechanic shop made numerous attempts with assistance from Aces Techs to correct the situation. The Aces company even had my shop put in incorrect motor specs into the unit to try and “trick” the computer to make it work. The Aces manager had even claimed it could’ve been faulty parts, so I had to again pay my mechanic to remove the potential faulty parts. Aces then sent me new parts in the mail, which I had to pay my mechanic to reinstall. Once all my finances were exhausted from paying my mechanic shop, (which I advised Aces through an email), I was now on my own, and still with an improper working vehicle. My vehicle would run worse with each attempt of driving. My car became a fire hazard and had went on fire numerous times, even inside of my homes garage. One fire incident even happened with one of the Aces techs on the phone with me, whom was making another attempt to make it run properly. The Tech had to stand by on the phone as I extinguished my vehicle. I put in a claim with my credit card company and advised them of this situation. I am now in process filing a complaint with ******** ******* ****** ************** ******** ** ****** ******** **************** ****** ******** ******** *** ******** ********** ******, my car Insurance Company, and even my home insurance company, and possibly a civil case. The Aces company has then even forbid me through email, to stop contact with the Aces company, claiming I threatened their Tech with legal action, on the phone. The Aces company claims to be helpful in all aspects, they did not stand behind their product, and I now have a potential fire hazard in my garage, and to my home, and no financial means to fix this situation.

    Good evening,

I would like to submit a deep concern I have with the company Aces Fuel Injection operated out of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee phone # ************* They sell self-tuning EFI systems for vehicles that operate on Local, State, and Federal roads and highways. I bought this system back in April of 2023 and had a Certified ASE mechanic install the entire KILLSHOT unit on my truck. Since the install of the Aces Killshot unit my vehicle has not run properly. I must have at least 50 phone calls into this company to get my issues resolved.

A major concern I have with Aces EFI Killshot unit is my vehicle will stall while traveling down the road. It is unsafe and dangerous because when it stalls, I lose all power such as the power steering and power brakes. I almost had an accident while I was traveling down the road at 55 MPH and my vehicle stalled causing me to lose my steering and brakes. This is one of several problems I have encountered with this unit. I have been through at least four O2 sensors, it will run so rich it will choke itself out while sitting at idle. My truck has stalled at a red light and I needed the help of strangers to push my truck out of an intersection to a safe location. I have informed Aces my truck stalls while driving down the road and how I felt unsafe and it makes my truck unreliable. I spoke with Aces customer service manager, ******, and he said Aces would not refund my money because it has been over 30-days since purchased. I have been very patient with Aces and tried everything they asked of me and my mechanic since day one. I have spent over 40-hours of my time and lots of money with a mechanic trying to get the KILLSHOT unit to operate properly. I believe I have given Aces enough time and chances to resolve these issues with the KILLSHOT unit.

As it states on their website this unit is a "Self-learning ECU means you don't have to be a computer/tuning wiz to have EFI." I had a certified ASE mechanic install the unit and did everything they could to get this KILLSHOT to run properly. Due to the stalling and other experiences I had with the KILLSHOT unit I feel it is unsafe and not reliable enough to operate my vehicle in a safe manner. I put a carburetor back on my truck and it runs perfectly fine. It no longer stalls, and it always starts right up. I have been more than fair and very patient with Aces Fuel Injection and the KILLSHOT unit and want to be refunded for my costs.

This is from the ACES website:

Please investigate Aces Fuel Injection and see how many other individuals made complaints about this company and their self-tuning EFI units. It made my truck unsafe and unreliable to operate on any public roadway and I would not put myself and family in this vehicle the way it ran with the KILLSHOT unit.

    Thank you,

    Dear BBB,

Mr. ******** requested to return the system for a refund, but he is well outside the 30 day policy that we clearly state on our website. He purchased his system in April of 2023, so it is almost a full year past his purchase date (almost 11 months outside of our 30 day refund window). Because of this, we are unable to offer Mr. ******** a refund. We do however gladly honor our warranty policy which states that any parts that are defective will be replaced by us.

Mr. ******** states that an ASE certified mechanic installed the system, however, ASE certification does not cover aftermarket EFI systems, which would mean that his mechanic would not be qualified to install this system based on an ASE certification alone.

If you would like any further clarification our part, we will be more than happy to provide more information.

    Thank you!
