Booked a 2 night stay through Expedia for Friday 12/8/23 - Sunday 12/10/23. My husband, myself and 2 pets arrived Friday evening at “the wayback” in pigeon forge. I informed front desk about my 2 pets and that I needed to pay the pet fee. According to Expedia the fee is *** per pet per accommodation. The front desk staff said that is incorrect and should be **** but that they would honor the *** per pet fee instead since I had a screen shot of the pet policy. they had me sign on an electronic template for the pet fee and had me insert my card. First entry of room I noticed the tile was altered in the living area with a perfect solid curved line by the coffee table. Sunday 12/10 we checked out before 11am. my bank transactions had 2 pending charges one for **** and the other for ******** I called “the wayback” and **** informed me that the ******* was incorrect and would drop off my account and that the **** was a temporary hold at check in. I received 2 emailed receipts on Sunday 12/10/23 At 3:20 am Receipt - ******* **** *** **** ******* **** ******* ****** **** ****** had my signature duplicated from check in and didn’t authorize charges and I had paid for the room and taxes through Expedia already. At 8:40 am Receipt - *** (pet fee) had my signature from check in - which was authorized for the pet fee and was charged previously according to receipt at 3:20 am. Received email 12/10/23 at 1:11pm for pet damage to floor tiles and would be charged **** to replace. these deep marks could not have come from a dog (see photos) Receipts and charges do not match. The charges all together for wayback Separate from Expedia booking **** ******* **** Total - *******  I feel targeted for having pets and held responsible for their negligence of previous damage. I had evidence of a cheaper pet fee of *** on website and they verbally said it should be **** which isn’t listed anywhere. My signature was duplicated after check in for *** pet fee and was fraudulent.
