This review is written to let consumers know of my experience with The Stitch Maker in Madison, TN owned by Willie W********. His services were not of a professional standard for a professional upholsterer.

December 5, 2021 The ******** Family hired you to reupholster two ****** recliners from the ********* Collection. You were provided 20 yards of fabrics, two boxes of **** nail tacks. Instructions were to use the neutral fabric for both recliners with a 5" plum stripe down the front, center of each recliner. The stripes on the chairs waver back and forth from 3" to more than 5".

January 26, 2022 a member of the ******** family picked up the recliners stating they were not professionally upholstered. You would not release to the chairs unless payment was made; you stated you'd sell them. You failed to disclose you accidentally broke and tried to repair one leg of the chair.

It would've been appropriate to disclose prior to December 5, 201 your eyesight and hands were compromised due to decades of upholstery work. It's not fair, nor ethical, to the customer. Saying you did the best you could does not equate to professional upholstery.
