I began communications with Genovations Accounting Jan 10th of 2024 to have them file my 2024 taxes. Over the next 2 months, we worked together compiling information for the filing. We did have to get on a call to go over the numbers as the format I provided my information in (a ****** sheet) led to inaccurate reporting of expenses. In April of 2024, we realized that it would be a good idea to do a cost segregation study on a property I purchased in 2023. They referred me to a third party to have that done. The 3rd party finished my cost segregation in May of 2024. While the third party was completing the study I reached back out to Genocations Accounting to confirm that we were on track with the extension and that we had everything we needed minus the study. At this point Genovations accounting did start asking me basic questions we had already covered such as when I moved from ** to **. This was the first bad sign as I had moved from ** to ** and all my paystubs and initial correspondence communicated that. The cost segregation finished in early June. For the past 7 weeks, I have been calling, emailing and leaving voicemails with no response. I eventually decided to go on their website and schedule a "consultation" for a new customer so that I could talk with someone. When it came time for the meeting it was cancelled. I then scheduled another consultation meeting for 2 weeks later which was also cancelled. In all I have been attempting contact for several weeks with zero response.

This was our first year with Genovations Accounting and they were going to do our small business partnership taxes and my personal taxes. Long story short- they did not prepare my personal taxes right, causing them to have to file an extension for both my personal and business taxes. After they realized that they were missing the K1 for my personal taxes, they went completely silent. I reached out via email, phone, and voicemail on countless different occasions for over a month and had no communication regarding ANYTHING. I wasn't even sure they filed the extensions. Finally, ***** reached out and said they had an admin that wasn't doing her ********* had been fired. ***** got our business taxes knocked out fairly quick after that and said she would begin to prepare my personal taxes. That was May 28th that she said she would have my personal taxes sent over for review that afternoon and I have yet to hear from her or been able to get into contact with her. I am in the dark regarding my taxes and not sure how to resolve this.
