      Absolutely the worst in car sales. I was lied to repeatedly about the car 1 purchased. i was sold this car under the impression it was a reliable Vehicle. 1 week later the car broke down, Speedway told me their cars are back by **** AUTO PARTS which is very professional in car certifications. 2 issue is this company never detailed my car which they promise, and when i pick my car up they said just come back we will give you a free wash and detail from another company. But how can i come back and my car detailed when it is broken down!!! Life is that simple i know!!! they referred me to a transmission company named *********************** and they told me they can not work on my until after 30 days that is when the warranty will be in affect. inclusion i have to wait 2 weeks without a car make a car payment then get my car fixed crazy heavens NO. No calls back. NO INSPECTION CHECKLIST! **** is the owner with over 20 years lies and fraud to people. They will continue to lie to buyers into thinking the cars they sell are a good deal. The other reviews speak for themselves, many with this same vein and nature. Simply put, they are artists of deception. The "inspection" performed by their repair shop missed obvious things and they just could not admit they missed critical items. BUYER BEWARE!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE BUT SPEEDWAY!!!!

      Absolutely the worst in car sales. We were lied to repeatedly about the car we bought. We were sold this car under the impression it was a ******** ********* Vehicle. Once we questioned it 2 weeks later as the car broke down, Speedway backpedaled on this and we had not even had it for more than a few weeks. It needed shocks/struts, axles, and both compressor pump and air valve for the airmatic suspension. $3,000 in parts professionally installed by a local and highly reputable mechanic. We had called ****** and **** IMMEDIATELY and multiple times when the issues began, and we were ignored for over 4 weeks. No calls back. When we FINALLY did get through to **** (manager) he was in denial and said it was NAPA certified not ******** *********. This is absolutely not true! My wife and I were standing in the office and **** said ******** ********* on this vehicle! We then asked for the inspection items as a checklist, and they still failed to provide it. They showed a repair order (from the auto shop they own BTW) and things like batteries and starter were replaced. NO INSPECTION CHECKLIST!They will continue to lie to buyers into thinking the cars they sell are a good deal. The other reviews speak for themselves, many with this same vein and nature. Simply put, they are artists of deception. The "inspection" performed by their repair shop missed obvious things and they just could not admit they missed critical items. BUYER BEWARE!!!       We are sorry the vehicle experienced problems. We cannot guarantee used cars will not have problems in the future no matter how they are certified.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      We were sold this vehicle under the premise this was a ********* **************** and inspected, and it clearly was not.

      **** the lied to us again and changed his words AFTER the sale stating it was NAPA certified and inspected. This was also a lie.

      We have called and asked REPEATEDLY for the inspection checklist and they have ignored it consistently. This is unacceptable.

      MULTIPLE reviews have stated the same things- car broke down after only a few days of ownership, lies being told to sell vehicles and it goes on and on.

      This dealership must be held accountable for their de3ceptive practices and constant lying to consumers.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The sale was performed under false declarations of the vehicles status and condition to give the buyer confidence to purchase what is otherwise a compromised vehicle. Why do they even mention **** certified (because we know the ******** ********* is a lie)? There is no documentation of **** certification anywhere, even though we asked for it multiple times. They changed their language after we called that out as it is evident the **** certification was not performed. I even spoke to the repair facility (which Speedway owns) and they could not produce any inspection checklist, only what small items were repaired prior to the sale. Speedway sold this vehicle under the guise that this had undergone a rigorous inspection which was also a lie. We have asked REPEATEDLY for the inspection report for what was inspected and checked PRIOR to the sale of this vehicle. We have the emails to prove that also but no response from the dealership. This highlights what was ultimately a lie to sell the vehicle then hide behind the "as is no warranty" blanket. What a disgusting practice and scam of a business.

      Additionally, the vehicle was registered in the WRONG COUNTY!! We do not live in Rutherford county. This was not in the paperwork either, and we were informed after not receiving our license plate that we are on the hook for that now too. When I called the dealership about this, the response was "we don't title vehicles in other counties." This was never discussed or mentioned and could potentially have swayed our decision whether or not to buy. The **** Certification certainly would have without question. Again, we were told they would get this for us but never did.

      These business practices are unethical. The dealership is hiding under the as-is statement. There are definitely issues with how this and many, many other vehicles are sold at this place. This is not the first time a consumer has been lied to or sold a shoddy vehicle. Look at the reviews as many people are saying the same thing about being ripped off. There are unethical business practices.  

      I will continue with this grievance until Speedway Motors makes the correct decision to do right by my family and the many victims it has scammed and lied to for a sale.
