They also destroyed a large rhododendron and promised to replace. The yard was left with much trash and debris as well. Was told ******* for three trees and then ******* dollars for the tree in back. One of our trees split about 5 feet from the ground, we thought he meant this to be 2 trees. He did all three and one of them wasn't ours. But only cut about 8 feet off the bottom of the tree in back. Said the ones in front were huge trees, which he checked before so his mistake. I said **** or finish. Wife wanted no trouble so gave him ****. Hosay is a liar. Our neighbor had already told him she couldn't afford her front tree so he knew before the fact it was hers. Would never tell anyone to hire them. Would say DO NOT hire them. They do not talk the truth. Get all in writing, and **** trees getting done.

On approx. ****, Titan was referred through Networx for some emergency tree service caused by hurricane Iam. They were paid ******* for the work which was done pretty good, however they failed to give me a receipt for the job. I have made several requests via text message requesting they drop off a receipt or E-Mail one to me for my insurance adjuster. As of today, almost three weeks later, I still have not received the requested receipt. **** claimed he only lived 11 miles from me, which ********* is a little further than that. I appreciate the fact that they came to ******* to help with ***'s cleanup, but I do not appreciate the fact that I cannot claim the $******* I paid them on my insurance claim as I have no receipt. I am now being ghosted by this company. There is something suspicious about the whole situation.

On Tuesday 5/3 Jose A ****** quoted me $******* to remove and trim trees from my property including stump grinding of the trees removed. He advised on 5/3 that they would do the work on 5/4 and grind the stumps on Saturday 5/7. I confirmed on 5/4 that they would do the stumps on 5/7. Stupidly I paid him on 5/4. 5/7 Came and went, I texted Jose on 5/7 no response. I texted him on 5/9 - he said they were doing them this week and that "there is a chance we can do they today". I have text him every day since and have not received a response. I also reached out on their ******** page on 5/12 and have not received a response. I just want the job finished that I paid for.

Consumer Response /* (2010, 6, 2022/05/16) */ The company was at my neighbor's house on Saturday taking down trees - so I sent another text, asking if they were planning on doing the stumps. They had replied "yes". Had I not reached out, I'm certain they would not have come and done it. The job is complete now.

was contacted by titan to give a estimate for storm damaged trees. They came out 2/10/22 and gave a estimated. I asked for a email copy and explained that the insurance adjuster would be out the next day at 10, however I would not be there. I needed to speak with the insurance company first. They came out and gave the insurance company a invoice (which was the estimate they sent me) and were demanding to be paid by the insurance company. They came back to my home on 2/13/22 and said they contacted the insurance company and they sent me a check and wanted to be paid to do the work. I stated I was still getting estimates and he became hostile saying we had a agreement. I never signed a contract I never asked to move forward and now they are bulling and threatening me saying they know insurance sent me a check which i have not recieved yet. I contacted the insurance agent and he stated the guy **** had been calling him for payment and notified them that the funds are sent to the homeowner not the contractor. This is a horrible way to do business, and I do not think they should be around frauding people.

What the business committed to provide: Tree cutting/trimming services AND tearing down a gazebo **** verbally agreed that he would trim/remove some of our trees and take down a gazebo in our backyard for a total of $****; with taxes included this came out to $****. That was on January 24th. Since that time, I have had to call **** multiple times to see when they would be tearing down the gazebo in our yard. I have been told, on four separate occasions over the phone that his crew would be out there. On Wednesday of last week, January 26th, I spoke to **** on the phone and he said that he would get a portion of his crew out to our place on Sunday to complete the work. They never showed. On 1/31/2022, he lied to me again, and said they would be there in a couple of hours - that was at**AM. I called him multiple times around *****PM, finally getting him on the phone only to be told to not call him multiple times because he was on an important phone call. This baffled me because had he completed the work last week, as he initially promised (which was estimated at about 3 days), my string of phone calls would never have occurred. Additionally, my property was littered with ********* plates, smashed soda cans, plastic bags, and cardboard boxes. Even now, angered and frustrated, I am going to wait to submit this complaint for two days, in the hopes that I make contact with **** so that he and his crew may finish their work. 2/1/2022 Update: I attempted to reach **** the next day and was sent to voicemail three times in a row. This was at**:**AM when the attempts were made. I was called back by ****, again being told that he would be there today, he never showed. 2/3/2022 Update: I was not contacted by Titan Tree Service and they still did not complete the work. You did not render the services I paid for and I am requesting you finish the job or provide a refund for not tearing down the gazebo.

Consumer Response /* (2010, 10, 2022/02/28) */ The merchant finally reached back out the week of February 21st, 2022. They did show up on Thursday February 24th, 2022 to complete the job. I lifted the dispute with my bank and would like to close this complaint with the company. I would also like to note that it was not until disputing a larger amount of money with my bank that I received contact from this company. It took a whole month of uncertainty and trying to get a hold of this individual to complete the remaining two hours of work. I do not recommend this company but please close this dispute. Thank you.

The owner of Titan Tree Service ******. ****** scammed my father out of $***** in early December and even stated he would return that money by Friday December 10, we even have the check he had returned to us but he had cashed it already using a mobile banking app. He came to my fathers house in early December to remove 2 trees($*****)...which he did...but returned the next day(which I think is part of the scam he's obviously running) and asked if my father needed these other 2 dead trees removed and he would do it for $*****...my father agreed and said "how about instead of 2 checks, I give you one check for $***** and you can give me the other check back"...it had only been a day so my dad didn't think ******. ****** had already cashed it... He agreed(of course) and gave my father back his $***** check and my dad wrote him a new check. About a week later my dad checked his bank account because his card had been declined when he went to buy groceries...and ******. ****** had cashed BOTH checks!!!! My dad called him and he answered and said "oh yes, I'm so sorry, my wife accidentally cashed it and I'll have your money back by Friday". Friday comes and goes and surprise surprise now he's not answering my father's phone calls. My dad has the check and recordings stating he knows he owes my father the $*****... I, then, wrote him a message via ******** messenger, which I posted below, where again he acknowledged he owed my father the $***** and that he would pay him back. That didn't happen, of course. My father tried calling him one last time and he finally answered and kept apologizing and said he PROMISED he would make things right this Friday January 7...and of course the guy was once again he lied. And now he is no longer responding to any calls and messages. We have plenty of proof, even his own admission that he owed my father this. Also, I have screenshots of several other people he did this to.
