We have been longtime customers of Advanced Solutions, but this most recent experience was very disappointing. I called them to fix my sprinkler system, which was coming on at random times and had a zone getting stuck. They came out and said the issue was fixed, but my neighbor quickly let me know the sprinklers were still running at night and the same problems continued.
When I called back, I was told I’d have to pay again—even though the original issue was never resolved. ******, the person I spoke with, was extremely rude and argumentative. She even accused me of not paying my bills, which was completely false. I asked her to name any bill I hadn’t paid other than this visit, and she could not.
Because of the poor treatment and unresolved issue, I ended up hiring another company that fixed the problem correctly. Despite this, Advanced Solutions continues to claim I owe them for a visit that accomplished nothing.
After years of being a loyal customer, I am very disappointed in how I was treated. I cannot recommend this company due to poor service, lack of accountability, and unprofessional behavior.

On July 28, 2025, **** **** contacted us about 2 problems with her irrigation system. One was the irrigation system was running at weird times and had a zone that was very wet. We went out to repair the irrigation system on August 4, 2025. Upon inspecting the irrigation system, we replaced a valve for the zone that was too wet and also adjusted the run times on the controller as well as reset the actual clock on the controller as it had lost power and did not reflect the correct time of day. When we left the irrigation system was in full working order. On September 2, 2025, *** **** called stating that the system was running at the wrong times and requested we come back out at no charge to repair, we explained to *** **** that it sounds like the clock has lost the correct time again. We instructed her to check the actual clock on the controller to make sure it reflects the correct time of day and if this continues to happen, we would recommend replacing the controller since it is not keeping the time. We could come back out and adjust the times again, but it would be a charge to come back out to fix the clock on the controller. We quoted her on replacing the controller, **** **** stated she would speak with her husband and call back. On September 30, 2025, we texted **** **** about the past due balance from the service on August 4, 2025 for $121.52. **** **** called our office as she received a text and thought it was a scam. We explained she did have a past due balance from the repair on August 4th for $121.52. **** **** stated we did not fix her system. We tried to explain to her that there were 2 separate repairs done on the irrigation system on August 4th, one to replace a valve that was stuck on and leaving a wet area as well as fixing the clock on the controller and adjusting the times so it would run at the correct time of day and for an appropriate time. Upon leaving on August 4th everything was in working order. We explained we had spoken to her and she was going to check the clock on the controller and we had not heard back from her. **** **** then informed us that she had called a different company, and they fixed her problem. We asked what they had done to fix the irrigation system and she stated they had replaced the controller which we had previously recommended. We tried several times to explain to **** **** that there was confusion about the repairs that had been made on August 4 for two separate issues and not one single problem that wasn’t repaired. We did tell **** this is why she must sign for any repairs that she approves to be done as we have previously had problems with her paying for repairs she asked to be done. After trying to explain to **** **** multiple times that we did indeed make the repairs on August 4, 2025, and she did owe the balance we told **** **** we would take the charge off for $121.52, cancel her account and go our separate ways as this business relationship was not being productive for either party.

I see that the company has missed the main point of my complaint about the irrigation repair. The primary issue I contacted their office about was that one of the irrigation zones was getting stuck on—meaning the sprinkler heads in that zone were not going down when they were supposed to, causing the water to continue running and turning on at random times. The only way to stop the water was to manually turn it off at the main line, which clearly indicated that something was mechanically wrong. While I understand that the controller or clock may have needed replacement, that does not address the mechanical problem of the zone being stuck and continuing to run. I also expressed concern about my water bill, which later confirmed my concern—it was nearly $600, far higher than normal, clearly showing that the problem persisted after their visit. As far as I am aware, my account had a zero balance prior to this service, as I have always paid for work that was properly completed. However, since the zone continued to run after the repair, the issue was not resolved, and I did not believe it was fair to be billed for work that did not correct the problem. Another company later replaced the controller and confirmed that the issue had been ongoing. I also received a refund check, though I am unsure why, since I did not make any payment for the last visit.
