    I placed an order with Mountain City Takeout on February 10, 2022. We ordered food to be delivered from Subway through Mountain City Takeout. One of the subs was incorrect and not what we ordered. I was unsure how to reach Mountain City Takeout regarding the error because there isn't a phone number on their website, so I called Subway to tell them I was sent the wrong sub in error. Subway kept saying there was nothing they could do about it, not even contact the driver or Mountain City Takeout to have the proper order sent to our house. Originally, I just wanted my son's sub, but I realized Subway either couldn't, or wasn't going to help. They told me to contact Mountain City Takeout on Facebook. They also told me that they were on the phone with the manager at Subway and she told me to call back today to receive a refund. I wasn't very confident that Subway would give me a refund, so I did find Mountain City Takeout's email and I emailed them last night explaining the situation and requesting a refund for the sub we didn't receive. At around 1:30 pm today (2/11/22) I decided to call Subway back for the refund I was told I would receive. The manager instead just gave me the runaround no longer willing to give the refund. I did get frustrated at this point and told her this was unacceptable and hung up the phone. At this point I still had not heard anything back from Mountain City Takeout. As I was attempting to email Mountain City Takeout again, I finally heard from them in a return email. They are refusing me a refund of the almost $9.00 sub we didn't receive, and I was accused of lying and of "screaming and cursing" at Subway employees I will not deny that I got frustrated regarding the situation. But I did not scream, and I definitely did not curse at anyone. Mountain City Takeout is refusing me a refund because they are saying I didn't contact them first. I didn't know how to contact them because I'm not a Facebook user.
