Upgrade Auto were very unprofessional. I would never recommend this company to anyone. On April 15, 2023 I purchased a 2009 silver ***** Impala with $2500 down in cash, of $5000 asking price, with the intentions of paying the car off within 90 days. I literally was able to drive my vehicle for 3 ********** has been a nightmare for me since. My car was leaking gas, which I took it to Gateway LLC to have it fixed. I was told by Gateway mechanics that my car was so badly rusted under the vehicle that they could not, and would not be able to fix the gas leak. 3 days later I was driving home on the highway when my car completely shut down and stopped on me due to a bad starter. Upgrade Auto towed my car to their lot ( which they wanted me to pay for) to replace the starter ( which I did pay for). 4 days later my car wouldnt start due to a bad alternator. I had to get my car towed to my mechanic shop to get the alternator replaced. A few days after getting my alternator replaced my car stopped on me for the 3rd time and wouldnt start. I bought a new battery for the vehicle and I was able to drive it for a few hours when my car stopped on me again and wouldnt crank up. I havent been able to drive my car since. I got my car towed to my mechanic shop once again to see what was causing my car not to start. ( meanwhile, I was communicating, & still paying on my car with the Manager *******). Upgrade repoed my vehicle off the mechanic shops property without their authorization while my car was under maintenance. When I reached out to the owner **** about how dissatisfied I was with the vehicle and services he told me not to call his phone anymore and that it wasnt his problem & hung up the phone. 2 minutes later he called back, saying give him $1000 and the car/title is mines because he dont want to deal with me anymore. This entire situation has caused me so much anxiety and mental stress that it triggered my panic attacks. Thanks to Ugrade I am out of a ************
