    I paid ******* dollars to repair my vehicle. It never ran properly. It carried 12 months or ***** miles warranty. I am still under warranty..They refuse to fix it. They told me that they will charge me for truck on the lot. He has told me before he cant get to it.(meaning AAMCO is wasting time

    Customer had 90 days warranty because he wanted a performance rebuild transmission, He came back after the warranty was expired and complained that the transmission was not working correctly, We recheck the vehicle free and found he had other leaks beside transmission such as drive shaft yoke and transmission cooler line causing transmission fluid to be low and he denied recommended repair.

    I called around mechanic shops in *********** near me and was told extremely high prices to fix my reverse band in my truck. So I started looking on internet for transmission repair shops and came across Aamco Transmission on *****************. I talked with *****, the Manager, at the business and told him what my truck was doing and asked him what would it cost me to fix it. He quoted me $140 to get a diagnostic on it first and $850 to repair it. Also, he said that the $140 would come off of the $850 if I choose to get if repaired. On 9/6/23 I paid him $672.75 which is what he quoted to me by phone that he needed in order to get around charge debit fees of 17%, which again he had not mentioned to me initially when we first spoke. But, when I called today, 9/7/23, ***** is talking about now I'll need to pay for the reverse part and other parts that he claims is broken which amounted up to be well over $2800.00 plus taxes. He NEVER itemized none of this to me when I first called him and explained the problem with my truck! But now that they have taken my transmission apart he's talking about all of these other charges and parts cost. He even said that to put my transmission back together without doing anything/any work to repair will be another $850! That's ridiculous! He quoted that the labor is $850, so how do you charge for labor twice for the same thing. If they took apart my transmission, they have to put it back together whether any work was done on it or not without me having to pay for labor twice! I hope and pray that I am making sense, but I'm kind of upset because I am a fair person and I treat people fair always, however, I don't want to be mistreated unfairly either! I would like to have half of the money that I have paid to this business which is $816.75. No work has been done on my transmission at all! Thank you and please help me.

    Good afternoon BBB,

    I emailed you on 9/15/2023 letting you know that I wanted to cancel the complaint because the business, Aamco Transmission, had refunded my money back along with my vehicle which no repairs of any kind had been done in the 14 days my vehicle had been there.  So, that made me whole for getting all of the money I had paid them.
