On May 20, 2025 I park at ********************************************* System. I had to go to court on ***************** when I entered the garage I received a ticket for parking there was no available parking spaces to park mostly all the parking spaces had a reserved sign on it. No clear direction to park where no reserved sign at. Clearly this was on the level of the garage parking and the sign stated reserved but no penalty for parking there I think I was on the second or third level. But when I came from the court I had a boot on my car and a sticker on my car to call the phone number and charge me $75.00 plus $2.00 card fee. I called the phone number and got in contact with a guy telling him my car is booted he asked me what parking space or level I was on couldnt remember I just between the second and third level. I was approached by him from a plain old truck with no security lights or no sign on the truck parking in a regular parking spot disguise themselves as regular people. I asked them why was the booth on my car he reply that I park in a reserved parking spot that why I gave you the ticket and then I asked for his supervisor he came out the plain truck as well trying to explain to me that I parked in reserve parking spot and explanation was America is about was built on capitalism this is plainly hogwash this a scheme to make money in this garage no empty parking spot so that you dont have to park in the reserve on every level in the garage no clear signs where to park and charge me twice to pay when I left the garage I have the proof on my credit and debit card transaction of$4.00 it should charge once not twice.

I am not understanding why this gentleman is making these accusations.  The parking spots are clearly numbered and the reserved spots are clearly marked with signage.  As he admitted the spots are marked. He identified them on each level.  It is true there are more reserved spaces on the lower levels for obvious reasons.  There are more non reserved spaces on the upper levels.  Our technicians are very respectful and  never engage in political jargon.

On Oct. 31, 2024, I parked on Second St. in the **** parking lot. I paid using the ParkMobile app; the option on the sign in the parking lot. A boot was placed on my car! Called dispatch, the boot remover came. I showed him my receipt, the hour plus left on my timer, and my correct tag number in the app. He called his manager ******** and explained that I'd meet all of the required steps and ******** question the zone number for parking being incorrect. We showed that the ONLY zone option in the app was 9027 because the app uses your location. There is NOT an option to input a different zone. The 9027 in the app showed our exact location. ******** stated I had to pay for the boot removal, and to take that issue up with ********** and refused to take accountability for the discrepancy that was out of my control. This is clearly a SCAM! This hypocritical action needs to be handled and corrected between the partnering companies. Customers who follow required instructions, PAY, and return before time expiration, show PROOF of payment, should not be FORCED to pay the towing company ANYTHING! It was criminal of ******** to not SIMPLY give the ok to have the boot removed considering the customer was NOT at fault. This decision would not have costed him a *****. This is a prime example of towing companies taking advantage of paying customers, giving them NO CHOICE but to pay ridiculous amounts of money to have their OWN vehicles released .....A CHOKEHOLD OF A SCAM!

    Business Response

The discrepancy that the consumer is talking about is also out of our control. We are not in control of the Park Mobile app and we are not responsible for issues regarding their app. This should be a complaint for Park Mobile and yes the consumer was informed to contact them. She wanted us to remove the boot free of charge however we were not in the position to do that. This was a valid boot and no refund or reimbursement is due to Ms. ****** We do apologize that we can not further assist her.

On July 11 I parked in an outdoor lot at the top of ***************** and paid the parking through the app at the lot. I arrived back approximately 10 minutes over the time, assuming the app would just charge me for the over time. When I arrived at my car, the car was booted and there was a couple next to me who was also booted and paying their fine. Please note that when I arrived at the lot there was maybe one other car in the lot, but now there were approximately 7 and all were booted. When the representative came to address me he reported that there was no record of payment. I contacted the City of ********************** on July 26 to request that they review this fine and determine whether the actions were appropriate on the part of the ***********. I spoke with *********, who had me on hold for a while and then reported that she had been on the phone with Security Assets, who would be reaching out to me. She also provided me with the email ******************** to whom I emailed the documentation included in this email. It has been nearly Two months and I have received no communication from either Security Assets or City of Memphis Permits.

We are a parking enforcement company that is contracted to check if people are in violation of our clients' parking lots. The complaint in question is not valid. The did not pay the machine. Contractually speaking, there is a zero tolerance policy for our clients lots for parking violations. We responded to the City of ******* accordingly, thanks.

We parked on ***** and 2nd in a public parking lot. There were no tow away signs posted however stated to park at your own risk. A man put an illegal boot on our car and was unable to provide any evidence we did not pay to parking in the lot and forced us to pay him to remove the illegal boot for $50. He was wearing a kid size vest and drove a beat up unmarked truck. Insisted a tow truck was on its way and he just making a living for his family.

We are a third party parking enforcement company. We check parking lots periodically to make sure everyone is paid, tickets are not expired, double parked, etc. The person is question did not pay the parking lot's kiosk or online payment system. We are contractually bound to enforce the rules of our clients parking facilities. Our policy does not allow us to remove boots for free once we find that a vehicle is in violation.

I parked at the lot on ***** Street near the ******* court house at 1:43pm. I got out of my car, walked over to the sign with the payment information that was 20 feet from my car and processed my payment of $5.45 for 4 hours of parking at 1:44pm through the text number while still standing in the lot. I came out of the court house less than 30 minutes later because my case was already dismissed and the boot is on my car and a sticker that states non-payment. I walk over to the 2 men in the lot and show them my receipt and give them my tag number and neither of them could find me in the system at first. Once we walk over to my car for them to verify the tag they then tell me that my car was booted before my payment. Then the Hispanic attendant tells me that I'm lying to him and I must have already been in the courthouse for much longer than I am telling him and I have to pay $50 to get the boot removed from my car or it will be towed within the hour. Even though I knew he was a lying sack of Sh*t, I pulled out my card that I had used for the original parking charge and was then informed that they don't accept cards for the $50, they only accept Cash, Cash App, Venmo or Zelle. Basically the untraceable forms of payment. Because I was on my lunch break and had to get back to work I zelled the $50 even though I wholeheartedly believe this was all a scam by some losers who don't want to actually work for a living. Then the hispanic attendant while holding my phone seeing the zelle transaction begins to argue with me that I didn't send it and he had to call someone to verify it. At this point I get irate and inform him to remove the boot immediately or the police were going to be involved. He called some guy named ******** who is apparently the owner of this nonsense company who confirmed the payment was received and then allowed the other attendant to remove the boot. Don't use their services/lots, its all a scam. I hope ***** does it's job in this dangerous city!

I pulled in a parking lot that was beside *************************** office at 3:25 on February 1st 2024. I was gone for about ***** mins to come out with a boot on my vehicles Rims. I had no clue you had to pay at the time. After calling the number to get the boot off my vehicle I then paid the fine and signed the receipt. When the guy took the boot off my Rims there was significant damage to my aftermarket rims. Then the guy says you didnt read the receipt that you signed? Were not responsible for any damage. But the guy wouldnt remove the boot until I paid. So how can I see if theres any damage if he doesnt remove the boot first? I still cant get ahold of anyone in management etc. I want my Rim replaced or my money back. Crooks they are

He ****ed other with bo explaining further letting me know they are scamming. He also gave me an illegible receipt.

We are third party company that only enforces parking policies that our clients make. We have no control of pay machines, we only enforce the rules of the parking lot. Our technicians pull a report from the machine or online portal. If there is no payment found, we have to boot the vehicle. We are told by our clients that if the machine is not working, the customer must move out of their parking lot. They look at it the same way other businesses do with self check-out. If the machine is not working, you can't walk out with their product.

The Olymbec parking garage at 80 ****** has apparently hired a private firm "Secure Assets" to "ticket" our cars for various infractions. When I came to work, I parked between two cars where there was space. When I came to leave, no cars remained, but my car was booted for DOUBLE parking. I did not double park. I was on the line. Both spots on either side are still available to be parked in. No one answers when you call ...finally I get call back and am told up to 40min and call if they don't show up. I have children at school waiting and this is a dangerous city in one of the worst parts of town and I am a vulnerable woman waiting indefinitely and I have to pay $50 if they ever come.

The complainee received a boot because her car was in violation. If she had a complaint, we post the ***************'s number on the sticker placed on her driver's side window.
