    I rent a self storage unit from Devon Self storage for over two years while I was in *******. The address of the facility is **************************************. When I returned to ******* to empty the unit out I was absolutely shocked at the condition. It was rat infested! I have five witnesses besides myself. I have a picture of a dead rat in the unit. About 70% of my boxes had rat f**** in them. I have pictures of chewed furniture as well. It was disgusting. I paid them about $7,000 to safely store my possessions. I have not been able to get anyone to return my calls. Devon will also not give you a phone number to the corporate headquarters. I have filled out the appropriate forms to get a return call. No one will return my calls.

    This former tenant had food stored inside of her unit she was told about it and denied but then said that she would clean it out, these photos were taken when the tenant went into auction status, and we cut the lock on 1/20/2025 to do an inventory of the unit.

    During the course of time when I rented from Devon Self Storage my vehicles were broken into many times the fences were never repaired one of my vehicles was destroyed to such an extent it was totaled another vehicle was completely stolen every instance they're brand new security camera system never worked conveniently they have been no help whatsoever with any type of video or information that would show who stole my vehicle who robbed my vehicle or vandalize my other vehicle they advertise safe Secure Storage and it is anything but

    The vehicle that this former tenant said was stolen off of our property was not the vehicle that he said he would be storing.  Upon moving in he said that he will be storing a tan color pickup truck that was inoperable and a white inoperable white minivan.  Mr **** did not store this vehicle with us.

    So when I rented these spaces I expressed to the management that my vehicle storing was constantly fluid and changing one of my very expensive 4x4 show trucks was irreparably damaged while on vacation to ************** while being stored there it was broke into the locks broken out of it the dash smashed out of it the steering column broken two pieces and the entire Dash wiring harness irreparably cut and damaged to the point where I no longer felt safe storing such a valuable vehicle there I explained to them that I have three identical white ***** Express vans to that run and one that didn't and while I was on vacation I would store my one that I was storing Parts in there while gone while gone with the other truck was damaged this truck was broken into and several things stolen out of it I didn't get a call from ******* Self Storage the city of ******* had to call me to tell me that my property had been damaged broken into and destroyed the truck that was stolen I purchased on a Thursday late in the afternoon on a holiday weekend I had tried to contact the office that very day to tell them that I would be storing the truck there and to give them the information on it when I come back on Sunday my vehicle is gone stolen out of their lot I had asked on many occasion to fix my online portal with ***** stuff storage so I could know exactly which spots were mine and have proof that those spots were mine to no avail and these theft problems aren't just me there are several other renters that have been egregiously robbed from over and over again it's to the point where the place is a blight on the community so much theft happens there there's no other way but for it to be an inside job
