This company is very terrible and inattentive. The heat in the house went out on thanksgiving and I called the emergency line and put in a meld ticket the day. The temperature outside has been down in the twenties and thirties while the houses temperature was steadily dropping. Its been going on almost 7 days and the company has not sent any vendor or maintenance out to fix the **** issue. The company should be shut down. ******* ******** (Property Manager) did not respond to any emails, phone calls, or reach out to me in any form. She does not take her job seriously at all and her communication is horrible. Each time I called the emergency line all the representatives kept saying they were waiting on the property manager to approve for a vendor to come out. Very pitiful for them to expect me, the tenant, to pay full rent at a place where the heating/cooling has failed multiple times. But even in extreme low temperatures the company doesnt consider heating an emergency.

This is the most garbage property management group. I've ever been on lease with. Every time I have an issue, a problem, a concern he gets pushed to the side. I moved in on record with the property, not up to date. Issues after issues... Every time I call my property manager *******, who NEVER answers the phone who always sends the call to voicemail. Who always puts the lowest budget possible in for things to get fixed. I get Minimal effort from this woman, It is sad that I just came back from deployment. I have been for 5 months now renting this place at $1100 a month, The kitchen still has water damage, still has socket that dont work, still has fireplace issues, plumbing issues, still has a leaky roof. Overall I will Definitely. He posted about this place on ********* tic tok, and any other social media.

Homeriver group is far most the worst company to rent from. They charge you half for things that has to be fixed with their houses!! Ive been without a hot water tank for 3 weeks. The vendor had me taking off 3days straight and didnt even come and blocked my calls. Ive called Homeriver group for 3weeks straight more then 15 times a day to speak with management and guess what still havent been able to speak with management. My yard floods every time it rains to where I cant even park in the driveway. They dont deserve no stars PERIOD!!

The absolute worst renting company I have ever worked with. I dont even know who I am talking to half the time, no one I talk to knows whats going on, this company is a serious sh** show. My roommate and I moved into a home in July of last year and were immediately met with broken plumbing pipes and had to have our entire yard dug up. We didnt have access to a shower for over 2 days, no working kitchen sink either. The entire project took almost a month, and the unprofessionalism and disorganization was unbelievable. We dont even want to put in work orders for anything else because just scheduling a work order is a project itself. Our window shattered out of nowhere, we found out its because they used incorrect glass and just glued the sheet of glass in. They tried to make US pay for it, they must not have talked to the professional maintenance person they had sent out - because I had to tell THEM that my glass was installed incorrectly with wrong materials for them to pay for it. We were told wed be receiving a discount/concession on our rent, since we were made to live in UNLIVABLE conditions - but never received any sort of repayment. If I had the time and energy Id bring legal into this but I am just ready to be out of this place at this point.

This property management company is horrible. I have been a tenant in the home that I am renting since 2017. There has been several different property management companies since I have been here but Home River Group is the absolute worst. There was sever storm in the area that I live in, April of 2023, which caused a lot of damage to the house. It's ******* of **** and the damage during the storm has not been fixed at all. The home had lots of damage from the windows falling in, the fence falling down, to shingles and shutters falling down from the storm and still to this day there has been no maintenance repairs. Every time I call and speak with someone they tell me that they are waiting for approval from the home owner or that they are waiting to hear back from a vendor. This company should not be in business. They are more than happy to raise your rent and add additional fees but are unwilling to upkeep with the overall maintenance on the homes. I am a retired military veteran and have lived all over this country and I have never come across a company that is this unprofessional. I am completely frustrated and disappointed with the service that is provided by the property management company. If you are looking to work with a property management company please look to another one because Home River Group has very bad business practices and they do not care about the tenants.Show less

I have lived in this house for almost 5 years. Rent paid every month on time, never late, not even during Covid. For the past two years I have repeatedly asked for the ** unit and heat fuses to be updated and or replaced because every summer the ** goes out and every winter the heat goes out due to fuses blowing. Its so old now you cant reset the fuse. Both are over 20 years old. Today when the temps are ***** degrees, my heat goes out again. They act so nonchalant and say its my responsibility to call vendor. Even though I pay an extra ***** a month for a tenant benefit package, really not sure what that entails because they dont do anything. But the benefit you dont have an option. Its forced upon you. I pay **** a month for this house and cannot get anything fixed. Renters, please beware. Please try and find somewhere else. This place is horrible. In 12 degree temps I assure you they will let you sit there. Just horrible. Even though you do everything right. Even when everything they do is wrong. You do everything right. They do not care.

I have not been reimbursed for repairs I made over six months ago. It's difficult to get in contact with a real person, and if you do, they will not follow through. After a recent leak in the kitchen, the manager said they would take care of it, but I've heard nothing. If I were the owner I would be very concerned about the damage the leak is causing to my property, but Home River Group seems unconcerned. Worst property management experience ever!
