1 starON JULY 15, TG SPRAYED WEED KILLER. MY VEGETABLES AND MY FIG TREE THAT I BROUGHT UP FROM ******** 45 YEARS AGO ARE NOT ******** FOR THE VEGETABLES, ACORN, BUTTERNUT CAN PLANT AGAIN NEXT YEAR. AS FOR THE FIG TREE, IF IT DOES NOT SURVIVE, I WILL SEE IF LEGAL ACTION CAN BE TAKEN. TG WAS VERY UNDERSTANDING. THEY WERE WILLING TO ONLY CHARGE ME HALF PRICE ON THE APPLICATION. MAYBE THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND APPLICATORS NEED MORE TRAINING. AS FOR STARS I WOULD GIVE IT -0.

1 starMy lawn looked worse than neighbors lawn who had NO lawn service. Chemicals they used irritated my female dogs ****, I told them. I ask them to STOP their services but they continued. They took $155.85 out of my checking account with NO notification.TruGreen

1 starI called about a special on ******** of $77 for 2 applications to kill weeds. And after paying the $77, they keep harassing me with phone calls almost every day and sometimes more than once about paying another $77. I'm an old man 62 ys old and on a limited income and this needs to stop. I bet they are doing this to a lot of old people. I live in ****** ********TruGreen

1 starService tech lied and said that they provided weed ****** and fertilizer to my entire property in the 2 minutes. When I confronted them, they admitted to lying and said that they didn't do what they wrote up on the ticket because his equipment is not working correctly. This means he did the same thing to my neighbor and most likey all his previous stops and future stops today. This is not my first issue with TG lying about provided services. I have canceled my service. Lying about services and charging for something that wasn't done is theft. Truck id ******, specialist ****** ***** ****, license *********** Previously lied about applying grub control for 2 seasons. They said they would correct the issue by repairing my lawn and give me the service free of charge this season and instead of fixing the grass, they charged me for grub control again and still haven't repaired the lawn. I spoke to multiple techs and made multiple phone calls with no resolution.TruGreen

1 starOne of TruGreen's guys came knocking on my door Yesterday (July *******). Took me a minute or two to get to the front door, just as I was getting there he was leaving one of the door flyers on my front door. I handed it back to him indicating I had no interest in their services. Today I was taking the garbage out to the curb and saw the same flyer I handed back to him on the ground next to my front door. So not only was he doing unwanted solicitation at my house, he littered on my property. If I am ever in the market for lawn care services, I will NEVER use TruGreen, I would have considered it if it was just the unwanted solicitation, but after him littering on my property they have lost my potential business forever.TruGreen

1 starI had trugreen two years ago and I had watched the driver spray the lawn , and to my surprise how fast he applied the chemicals and had missed the sides of the lawn and edges. sloppy spraying job. and my lawn still looked terrible. Never again Plus there prices are somewhat high, for my very small lawn.TruGreen

1 starA TrueGreen technician just sprayed my yard with what I believe is fertilizer and weed killer. We did not ask for this service and when I called in asking why our yard was sprayed with chemicals, they did not know. Its 90 degrees and I have an organic garden, koi pond, pollinator garden and children that are over to play on a play date. The yard reeks of chemicals that undoubtedly are dangerous and toxic for bees and insects and children. This is a disgrace. I have not heard back from a representative yet explaining what has been sprayed on our lawn by mistake.TruGreen

1 starBBB you have to drop accreditation of TruGreen. This makes your credibility look terrible.I wish I could give trugreen 0 stars. First, all their customer service **** are salesmen and women. They are not there to provide customer support. They are there to get you to buy more services and explain why they are right and you are wrong. They will give you the run around about everything. They are also somewhat inconsiderate because they will talk and talk and talk. Second, I have less grass in my yard than I did before I started these services. The grass I do have doesn't even look that great. I can kill my grass for free but I just put $600+ for TruGreen to do it. I feel like a fool. Please please do not use this company. Third, they do not spend any time in your yard. They show up spray and five minutes later they are gone. I am not positive that they weren't just spraying water in my yard. They have no idea what your yard actually needs. I had to tell them that my yard has pests, diseases, etc. that are killing the grass and roots. I recommend you use a local company and not this chain that clearly does not have your best interest in mind. I have no idea how this company still exists.TruGreen
