      I had been with Trugreen for more than 15 years. I always prepaid my services yearly that included a maintenance application warranty if there was weeds or pests during the season. No issues for 15 years. I called this year to get the maintenance application warranty and they tried to upsale me. When I asked why I should pay more, they said it was their company policy but would do it this time. I waited a couple days and called back to see when they would come and do the work. They denied their commitment and tried to upsale me again. They failed to deliver on their agreement and didn't care about the agreement they had made with me every year for 15 years. They used to be good (for more than a decade) but now they just bait and switch on their commitment.

It is never our intention for someone to feel as though we are avoiding assisting with their concerns or value them as a customer. ********************** has agreed to schedule a no charge application for Mr. *********** VA property a no charge reservice for the mosquito/pest control for his DE property. TruGreen corporate care will reach out to Mr. ********* the week of 8/11/25 to confirm satisfaction with the treatments and confirm that his online account is functioning properly.

      Service was scheduled for 7/19/2025 but no technician ever came. Nonetheless I was billed. This is not the first time. In the past, i have caught technicians parking down the street and sneaking up to my property to place a service notice on my lawn without actual service. This time however, they didn't even try to cover up their lack of service. No sign in the yard. No note on the door.

      TruGreen showed up to my residence yesterday 07/21/2025 to perform service on my lawn, the driver sat in this truck for about 15 minutes and then pulled off without servicing my lawn. Then I received the text stating that my service is complete so unprofessional been a customer since 2014 going forward I would like for my entire plan to be discounted for my inconvenience and don't ever send that technician out to my resident again

      Upon speaking with Mr. ******* on 7/24/25, Mr. ******* confirmed that this incident happened on 7/22/25 and not 7/21/25 as reported to BBB. Our records indicate that Mr. ******* contacted TruGreen on 7/22/25. Mr. ******* advised that no service was rendered although Mr. ******* received a text indicating that a service was performed. On 7/22/25 when TruGreen spoke with Mr. ******** TruGreen scheduled a free service for 7/25/25 and offered 30% off the remaining regular services for 2025 only. Mr. ******* accepted this good faith gesture. It is never the intent of TruGreen to communicate to any customer that a service was performed, and it did not happen. TruGreen investigated and addressed Mr. ********* concerns internally. TruGreen considers this matter resolved.

      I am sending these photos to show what my backyard looks like since a supervisor was supposed to show up today and did NOT even though I waited ALL day. I am also asking for all my money back for this year as I have been a costumer for at least 5 years and this is what I am getting for my hard earned money. It gets worse every year. These are the pics after it was treated a week or so ago. My neighbors do not have ANY of this as they all use other companies but they will soon because of me being a loyal customer with **********************. I really believe that nothing is applied to my back yard and even suspected last year and after reading BBB complaints, I totally believe this. My front yard is fine which doesnt make sense. They can come back as many times as they want but its a waste of time because nothing improves. I will use my refund to go buy stuff from the store and do it myself or go with the company my neighbor uses.

      Business Name: TruGreen Date of Service Start: September 2024 Amount Paid: $754.31 (Prepaid)In September 2024, I enrolled in TruGreen's prepaid lawn care program and paid $754.31 in advance. I was informed that this payment covered a full year of services, including 10 treatments over 11 visits, with weed control, fertilization, aeration, and tailored lawn treatments. The prepaid option was presented as a discounted plan valid through September 2025.However, in July 2025still within the one-year periodI received a surprise bill for $185.87 following a service visit. I was never notified in writing, verbally, or electronically that my prepaid services had concluded or that any future visits would be billed separately.When I contacted TruGreen customer service, I was told my prepaid plan had ended. The fact that a service was performed without prior notice and then billed afterward feels like a coercive tacticpressuring customers to pay for services they reasonably believed were already covered. This lack of transparency and informed consent is unacceptable.I request a full refund of the $185.87 and a written explanation detailing how my prepaid services were calculated and why the plan was deemed to have ended before the contracted one-year term. I also urge TruGreen to enhance its customer communication policies to clearly notify customers of service transitions or additional charges before services are rendered, to prevent such misleading and coercive practices in the future.Regards **** Z ***** ***************************************************************************** **********

TruGreen explained that the prepayment is for a set number of applications (10) not a rolling 12-month period. TruGreen has agreed to refund the charge of $185.87 that Mr. ***** has incurred as a good faith gesture. TruGreen will contact Mr. ***** at the end of next week to confirm he has received the refund back to his card. TruGreen considers this complaint closed.

      I am a first time customer of ********************** and have enrolled and paid in advance for 4 different services this year.The primary reason for contacting TruGreen was my Hydrangeas did not bloom last year at all. I noticed they had small ***** spots all over the green leaves, and a garden center said it was likely fungus or bacterial infection. This is what I first contacted TruGreen about to help with, where they sold me their ********************* telling me this would solve the issue and protect against this happening.Upon the 3rd of 5 treatments, I asked the technician doing the spraying if this is the right service because the hydrangeas are only blooming 5%, and there are still the ***** spots all over the leaves. He said it is NOT the right service, as this service is for boxwoods and other trees, only.Upon calling TruGreen to let them know, the service agent only refunded my 3rd treatment, and then cancelled the rest. So essentially I paid for 4 treatments that either I'm not getting or weren't supposed to get. Upon calling back a second time, I was told a technician would come out and look in person what is going on. He came on July 11th, confirmed this is the wrong service for what I was looking for, and told me a manager would call me that day to ********** is now July 21 and no manager has called. I called back again today, and a phone *** said this service is only for trees over 20 ft, and that a local manager would call, and submitted a request for the 2 unused treatments to be refunded.I am actually looking for a solution, if you have one, to prevent the infections, and I believe at least a full refund for ************ is due for the amount of time I've spent on phone with ***s, not getting the results, being sold a service not for what I wanted, and the unbelievably awful service I've experienced with TruGreen as a new client.

      TruGreen spoke with Mr. ******* we apologized for the frustration with our sales team not setting up proper service to take care of his needs with the hydrangeas.  TruGreen explained that we do not treat hydrangeas with our program. TruGreen did go over somethings that may help the hydrangeas, and suggested he take a sample to the local garden center to have it checked for what type of fungus it may have and how to treat for it.  TruGreen agree to refund the full prepay amount for the tree/shrub service. TruGreen will continue to monitor on our end to insure he receives the refund. TruGreen considers this BBB complaint resolved.

      I keep on complaining to them that they cheat on treating my entire property most of the times when I am viewing my security camera footage I see that they treat only a quarter or 1/3 of my entire property I keep on emailing calling I never got the response to my emails when I call they keep on promising that they will correct it they will send back the technicians to do it correctly they will notify the local office that this has to be addressed but nothing changes keeps on happening again and again and I keep on complaining to them again and again I would like for them to refund me for all the services that they cheat me on, + plus plus make sure that from now on all my five services that they providing my entire property from all four sides front back left and right is being fully treated with heart and care, thank you.

I do not have an account with ****************************** my knowledge or consent, I have received a monthly statement with fake charges. This was without my knowledge, or my authorization or consent. What is stopping my local TruGreen branch from simply using canceled customer data to reopen new accounts?

      ********************** has stated they removed my details, but I can only go by what they tell me. A guarantee this won't happen to me or anyone is a false promise.

      We inquired about a quote and never signed up for your service. You then sent two separate bills to our home in error because the salesperson signed us up for your service and sent an employee to our home without permission. We have tried reaching out two separate times to get in writing that we are not liable for these bills but have received no response. Please confirm we owe your company $0 and these bills were sent in error as we never signed up for your services.

      TruGreen please do not call me. I have requested multiple times I'd like a response in writing to keep for my records since you sent me two bills in error. Also, someone left me a message on Friday asking for me to call them back. They also said I did sign up for the service. Again, I NEVER signed up for your service. I don't know why there is so much confusion on TruGreen's end with this. Simply respond to either my original email or this complaint so I have proof that you sent me bills in error and my balance with your company is $0 since I was never a customer.

      I hired try green payed for 6 lawn services up front then I got a call the next day from someone stating they also worked at tru green and could do it for a cheaper price for me to cancel my service first then he would call me back to schedule with him. The next day I called and cancelled jus because I didn't know what was going on then he text messaged me stating he seen I cancelled and he would call me on Monday. I called try green and advised them of there privacy breach and gave them the name anc infact hr fid work there. I advised them he's undercutting his own business not to mention he had been stalking me on the phone after i did not return his calls.
