Received Membership 2022 for 1 yr doesn't end until mid 2023. Started getting services by student *** who always did my hair. Contacted the school, was told student wasn't in but i could come at 6pm & someone else could do it. I explained my hair is natural to the person on the phone. They assured me that i could get a roller set cost $20. i explained id be coming from across the bridge. When I arrived a dayshift manager informed me that a roller set wouldn't work on natural hair & to get my usual. The night manager then told me that if i wanted something different it would be a different price. I'm disabled & explained that I drove from across the bridge with no extra money. I brought what I was told. They assured me that the roller set would work anyway for my interview. the student rolled my hair, told me not to take it loose til morning. I woke up the next morning my hair was horrible. I cried reached out to *** via phone with pictures of my hair. she said this was wrong & i should get a wig. she explained in situations like this they call her out of class and she could fix it. Instead they refused. The other student stated that she had no clue of what to do& they shouldn't have given her my problem. She said they could have got her out of class to fix the overall situation from the night before. Her and another student began discussing students that were almost in an altercation over my head. i stopped her & the instructor came over & started yanking my hair to demonstrate what i wanted. i explained she said that doesn't know what to do. She got the night ************* told me to leave. That i could not ever get service again and the receptionist agreed. They never found out why i was hurt. I was put out with a cold head. i contacted police they advised me to reach BBB & the company said i was barred. I want this issue addressed. This is wrong hateful and horrible to treat someone. I spoke to the ********* loc they agreed and was told i could have gotten sick.
