I recently visited the First Horizon branch to open a new savings account with their 5% interest offer. I dealt with sr ************ ***** who was incredibly rude and dismissive. When I explained that I had new money to add to the account, she initially refused to assist, stating that it had to be "new money." Despite clarifying that I did indeed have new money, she went into the vault for 15 minutes and returned, insisting it wasn't new money and that she couldn't open the account.Frustrated by this unprofessional behavior, I decided to close my existing account, which holds a significant balance. To my surprise, the sr ************ banker rudely stated that I couldnt close my accounts, which is unacceptable since it is my money.In contrast, when I visited the First Horizon branch on ******************, the representative I dealt with was a breath of fresh air. He assured me there was no need to open a new account and kindly offered to give me the 5% interest rate. His kind and helpful demeanor were a ***** contrast to the sr ************ ***** in **********. Her behavior. Perhaps he could provide some valuable lessons in customer ********************** to the ********** location.This was one of the worst customer ********************** experiences I've ever had, and I feel extremely disrespected. I hope First Horizon takes this seriously and addresses such unprofessional conduct.First Horizon Response

The branch in ************ has to be the worst bank. They wanted to charge $8 to cash a check written by one of THEIR business account holders. He tried to justify it by saying all banks do it. One, that doesnt make it right. Two, all banks dont do it. I would stay away from this bank and not accept any checks from their account holders.First Horizon Response

We are extremely disappointed with this bank. There was a slight problem with our credit report, and they locked access to our ***** credit line then reported this negative information on our credit report. They only provided an email address for us to beg someone to review our case and open the credit line which the mystery reviewer on the other side of an email denied to open. We are in the middle of some business purchases for which the ***** would have helped. They are holding approximately 30K of our equity hostage at this point. Zero late payments, just them not talking to us about a slight problem on the credit file that has a reasonable explanation; we could have provided written documents to explain the issue.First Horizon Response

I called customer ********************** to request a stop payment. I'm new to it so I didn't know all the details on it. All the customer rep told me was that the stop payment request would require a $37 fee and it would carry the stop payment for 6 months. I was not informed that it had to be done 3 days in advance. If I was given that piece of information, I would have better prepared. The payment I was stopping still came out and I called customer ********************** back. They refunded the fee and sent a feedback form to have a follow up phone call with another rep. I had the follow up call with the other rep and he basically told me it was my problem and that I needed to pay the overdraft in order to avoid overdraft fees. So I am pretty much in the hole from the lack of information that I was given by the first customer ********************** rep I was in touch with. I am open to resolving this, but I do not feel that I have to come out of pocket because of the lack of information I was given. I am not happy at all.First Horizon Response

Was a business customer with this bank for years. I have always had issues and finally moved everything over to Chase. They make it nearly impossible for you to make credit card payments. And when you try to set up auto pay or try to link a credit card to an online banking account, its also impossible. I was constantly sent back and fourth between customer ********************** reps and local branch reps. Do not bank with First Horizon. So happy I moved all my accounts to Chase.First Horizon Response

I visited the office located at ******************** to request funds from my father's account to pay for his funeral services. I am awaiting probate court and do not have access so I provided ***************************** the documentation. He treated me very cold from the beginning until the end of our transaction. He told me that they would mail the check to the funeral home. I informed him that my father's service was on that Friday and that day was Tuesday. He said he would ***** the check. He handed me a Post It Note with the tracking number and didn't say a word. I sat there as he folded papers on his desk because I wasn't sure if he was done and he looked at me and said is there anything else? Well the check arrived after my father's service so I had to borrow money so his service would not have to be delayed. This caused added stress and strain on me. Before I walked in that office I was considering opening an account to keep my father's money in but after this experience his business will be pulled.First Horizon Response

This is ******************* I been a customer for a long time I applied for a ********************** card the other day got denied because someone use my name to try to open a couple of accounts that was bring fraudulent they denied my credit card application because of that my credit is very good and also I have several back accounts with them that has several thousands of dollars in them account.i told them that the inquirys wasn't mine I have a fraud alert statements on my credit files I been perfect with my credit accounts .and steal got denied. I do believe I might talk to a lawyer about this ordeal because I should have been from approved pretty easilyFirst Horizon Response

I rarely ever use this card. I acquired it because I had an Iberia credit card which had been a Pulaski credit card. Pulaski was good. Everything afterward not so much. Anyway, I recently used the card, just to keep it active and avoid cancellation as I started with Pulaski many years ago. Now I want to pay the balance. Haven't received a bill yet but can find no address online to mail a check, nor can I find any online site to pay the bill. Attempts to phone customer ********************** were similarly discouraging due to telephone tree and long wait times that eventually resulted in a disconnect. These folks also have a bank in the same not-so-large building that I work in and refused to change a $20 bill for me that I received from their onsite ATM unless I opened an account. good luck this is the worst bank ever they bought my bank and it has been a nightmare since day one they keep locking out my debit card for purchases some as little as $2 they have an 800 customer ********************** phone number which because they are so bad they don't even answer i am now at 70 minutes on hold as they locked me out once again run from this trash or a bankReview from Joshua K

Their security is atrocious and my finances arent safe here. Bank account has been wiped completely clean 3x in the last 3 months. This company offers no additional security features or anything to prevent this from happening. Doesnt even offer phone authentication of purchases.
