    This incident occurred 2021 June 30th. Our only long haired feline is shaved every year to help her cope with the ******* heat.We took FurBall as normal after two/three years taking her there, early in the morning perfectly healthy June 30th 7am. My husband picked her up 4pm after they called saying she was ready. When he opened her carrier, it was apparent that, other than being still sedated, she couldn't walk on her back right hind leg. For the next couple of days she would not eat or drink. So I pulled her out from under our bed July 2nd and brought her downstairs. Her hind limb was shaking, not eating or drinking again, and returned upstairs. There was something obviously wrong, I took a video of the tremor/shake. We were so concerned we took her to our VET to check no bone was broken or ligament twisted, Friday 2nd July. As a heady cat, it is easy to conceive she fell groomer and twisted her leg. I called them that day Friday ****pm, and was told expect a call next week.No call Monday 5th July, she was no better so again we went to our vet - ***************** Hospital, *********************************************************************************. To check again, this time they took x-rays also. Together these visits occurred fees of $219.00 and $166.10. Verdict was a soft tissue injury. Pain meds were continued.After hearing nothing, I called ******** again July 8th 4.15pm, talked to a ***** who told me groomer was busy and would call me back. She did not. I called again July 9th 3.15pm and was told ***** was out, but ***** put me on hold to talk to the vet and then said "this is about Furball yes?" I didn't mention my cats name. She just kept repeating 'NO INJURY OCCURRED" repeatedly. I said this is not over. She said fine, i will tell *****.I want my grooming fees and vet fees returned, in total $475.49. This was a SERVICE! NOT a Vets mistake.I have copies of all receipts, I need to find my files, sorry.. Groomers should be held responsible .
