This company was sent to my house by my insurance company after my house endured water damage due to a plumbing issue. There was damage to my master bathroom as well as the carpet in my master bedroom, and major damage to my finished basement below. After a discussion where I was told that they would be putting a pod on my property to store all of my belongings during the repairs, they actually took every single thing I had in my bedroom, including all of my clothing out of my closet, to a warehouse in Maryville without my permission. I came home from work to find nothing in my bedroom. At that time, I did call the job superintendent to complain. After more than a month, they brought boxes back to my house that were supposed to contain all of my belongings. Once I unpacked all of the boxes, I realized that I had a laptop, laptop case, wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, and half of the clothing from my closet that were not returned. I called the superintendent to ask if there were more boxes that they haven't returned yet. According to them, they searched and could not find my belongings. At the time, I believed there was a Blink camera missing, but I realized there wasn't and let them know that I was mistaken and I had all 3 of them at my home and they didn't need to search for it any longer. Although they admitted that my belongings were "lost", I have yet to receive an apology. I later realized that the headboard to my bed had major damage. There were several scratches to the metal where the paint was scratched off. At one point when they had installed the carpet in my basement, they moved my hope chest outside on the deck in the weather and left it there overnight. The chest contained family photos and memorabilia from my daughters' childhood. I had to call the superintendent to complain again and he came over to the house to bring it inside as it was too heavy for me to move myself. Thank goodness it didn't rain or everything would have been ruined! At one point, they were pressuring me to sign the COS and actually sent me a bill, knowing full well that my insurance company was responsible for it per my contract. Not only were they not apologetic for the "lost" items and damage to my headboard, they were rude and disrespectful. Although they did give me a small sum of money, it was nowhere near what I deserved or what it will take to replenish the items that were "lost". During my talks with them, I had made a comment that I didn't want money, I just wanted my belongings returned to me. I believe that there should be some repercussion to this company for the careless way they handled my belongings as well as the manner in which they treated me during the whole ordeal. I trusted them to take care of my belongings, which was obviously a mistake. My experience with this company has been a total nightmare and I want to make sure that this company doesn't do this to another client in the future.
