My car was towed by a Performance Tow that I did not have knowledge of. I called to get information on where it was being held and a price so I can have it moved. I was told $290 initially. I got to the place that looks like a house, there was no visible sign that shows the address or business name. I then saw the board with the pricing on it and questioned ******, the tow guy, about the price I was told. He states that there was a $25 gate fee that was not posted on the board outside of the gate. I said I refuse to pay for something that isn't in black and white or is visible. He proceeded to say he doesn't have to post everything he charges for and every one has a gate fee. Very unheard of and I feel I was scammed out of my money just to get my car off the impound lot. He also was very rude and unprofessional on first contact with me when I got there. I got threatened and was told "I got my money I don't care what are you going to do about it" I do not appreciate the service nor ****** towing my car when it shouldn't have been that way. I want this business shut down. My coworker also went through the same thing with the same person. I have no way to show things were paid for, no documentation, nothing. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND A SCAM!!!!

On 10/12/22 i was called out to the property of ************* to impound a vehicle on their property. ***** the property manager informed me that he needed this vehicle to be towed due to the fact the vehicle had been left abandoned in the parking garage. The white **** fusion was parked in the way of the entrance to the residential side of the garage. Several tenants had called and complained that the car was blocking the flow of traffic and that  it was impossible for several tenants to leave due to not being able to get around it. ***** informed me that the car had been there for hours. I picked the car up from the garage and towed it to my lot. I eventually get a phone call from ***********************, and from the first phone call to the time she showed up to retrieve her vehicle she was rude talked over me and hateful even at times threatened to slap me and that she was going to ( catch a charge ) after harming me. Even the guy that was with her had to hold her back and calm her down several times. By this time she called someone on the phone and told them to be ready to( Bail her out of jail) because she was about to (catch a charge for f***** me up ). I charged her the rates that are supposed to be charged as well as a 25 dollar gate fee. Any vehicle that does not leave our lot on our trucks is charged this. *********************** was not a customer of ours so there for filing a complaint on us was down right unacceptable. As a vehicle owner you have a responsibility to **** up with your vehicle and in this case she did not do so. I imagine she is upset it was towed and had to pay a fee to retrieve it, but there is a right and wrong way to handle it.
