In March & May 2021, I paid an electrician, ***** ****** 2 payments of $6000 each to purchase a whole house generator to install at a later time. ***** was referred to us by ***** ******* who built our home in 2013-2014, and who subsequently built their new home next door to us, and became our neighbors. ***** stated during much of 2021 that there were some supply chain issues which delayed parts and equipment, etc. Finally, in October 2022, *****’s crew came out and installed the required transfer switch. ***** agreed to install the generator between 1-13 Nov, while we were out of town. When we returned, no work had been accomplished. I set up an appointment with the propane company for them to deliver and install our propane tank on Feb 7, 2023. ***** agreed to deliver and do his work on the install prior to this date. However, as that date approached, and after continuous attempts to contact him to confirm his coming to complete his work on time, he failed to respond. I cancelled my appointment with the propane company. In the following 4 months, ***** remained unresponsive to numerous text messages and phone call attempts. I sent ***** a text message on April 11 that was significantly more forceful, and he replied on April 12th, and agreed to the delivery date on April 21. He gave an excuse for not showing on that date. Ditto Mon April 24, Tue Apr 25 and Friday, Apr 28. All no shows. I texted him on Friday (4/28) demanding a face-to-face conversation. He agreed to meet at my home on Sunday afternoon (4/30). He admitted that he had not been honest with me, but would work to put additional funds toward purchasing the generator in order to install it. Since this time, he has failed to correspond with me or provide any answers about timing to install my generator.
