    I signed a contract on May 11, 2022 with Sunrooms Express and paid $10,000 deposit. Was told my 4 season sunroom would be installed by Aug 2022. In Sept, the cement slab was poured and they requested another $10,000 down. So i paid it. Ever since then, I have been given excuse after excuse as to why my sunroom still has not been started. All the way from Crews out with covid, to secretary out for this and that, to cant get the material from any of the manufacturers. He has told me TWO MORE WEEKS for months now and I am sick of this. I told owner that I wanted my money refunded and I'll go elsewhere and he said I would have to sue him for the money because he doesn't have it. I researched and found that this company had great reviews before I signed contract and I dont understand why this is going on. He has even told me that he's thinking about bankruptcy and doesnt that mean I'll never get my money back?

    We signed a contract last April 29th, with Sunrooms Express on 4662 Old Broadway, Knoxville to finish out our already present screened in porch to a Glass Enclosed Sunroom.. We had two trees up against the porch taken down, a French drain put in and the cement floor finished with an epoxy coat, done on our own. While waiting. It is now six months since we signed the contract and paid ***** ***** 25% ($12,900) to order the materials. He put on the written contract "finish by Aug/September". Needless to say it hasn't happened and next week is November! All we get is a run around! Everything from material shortages to the crew had Covid, a workman lost a leg, another workman had a stroke! I have since found out that many people have had the same experience. This company has been around for a long time and several people recommended them to us, so I don't know what happened but quite frankly I'm extremely worried that we are out our Money, ***** (the owner) refuses to give us our money back and keeps giving us excuses as to why our sunroom isn't even started

    We've heard this same response for six months. We have now retained a lawyer ( more expense for us added to the deposit amount). He will just keep putting us off until we either give up or he files bankruptcy. Since he has been doing business without a business license ( it was revoked 4 years ago) we feel he is not being credible
