    Reached out to ***** Roofing for roof repair back in April. ***** came to check the roof and said they would provide pictures of all the work that was done so we knew what we were paying for. I liked that service so chose them for the job. They provided an estimate and scheduled appt. They no showed for the first appt. When I called, ***** said he fell off a roof so ***** would be taking care of the job. ***** scheduled an appt for the next week. Again no show. The repairman for the job had a death in the family and they couldn't get another guy on the job. We received an appt for the next day and they finally showed up. After a few weeks, we were sent an invoice. A few of the items on the list were not done how they quoted and no pictures were provided. We reached out to get someone to take pictures. I have text alerts from 9/1 and 9/29 for appts to take pictures but no one has shown. We just want the pictures so we can confirm they did the work agreed upon.

    Pay for a roof. Worker didn’t not clean up or dispose of trash properly, allowing trash to blow onto Cove Lake State Park. This allowed a visit from Parker officials and Twra. Worker also discarded lunch directly onto driveway. When dumpster was armed like distance away after job is completed the leaf blew trash into neighbors yard, and did not pick up after them. The communication was very poor from the individual quoting to the manager Bruce to their foreman Noah. The communication was very bad. The consumers were not updated. Before started we got hit with an additional bill for the chimney cap at around $1500 was never given any other options to try to save money. Also a an Also an antenna was disconnected for to be removed from roof to the quoted. When roof is done and it was never touched but workers decided to cut shingling material around the antenna. They were supposed to remove When shelter adjuster arose to verify chimney and check the work of the roof being completed. He helped us get the chimney capped for less than 200 bucks in materials, chimney seal & cap, which was discussed at quoting more than four times at three different appointments . Adjuster also mentioned looking over the additional addendum for the chimney cap that the quoted price was extremely high when other alternatives were out there . When Bruce followed up regarding the chimney cap at 9:32 AM. He asked if we at least have the workers start on the roof said that workers were on their way when they weren’t. Extremely bad communication between management and subcontractors. no quality control or follow up by any representative Smith roofing we request to talk to the owner and I’ve never been reached out by owner and was told they’ll try to have him call me. Made appointments they never showed up to follow these issues. And was sent a text saying they assume they were not needed the next day when txted about the missed appointment.

    Dear Mr. ******** Thank you for entrusting us with your project. I am sincerely sorry to hear that our work did not meet your expectations. It is our utmost priority to ensure your satisfaction, and we are committed to rectifying any concerns you have. While we always aim for perfection, I'd like to address some of the specific issues you've raised and take appropriate accountability for our part, in addition to taking steps to learn and better our practices for future homeowners. The process from our initial contact to the contract signing was indeed lengthy. Regarding the chimney cap, although we discussed it, a final decision was not reached. During the contract signing at our office with your wife, the matter was addressed again, but she mentioned she would discuss it with you and inform us later of your decision. We didn’t receive any further communication until the day of the roof installation. Despite the uncertainty, we agreed to proceed with the job and proposed an estimate of ******** for pressure washing, sealing the brick, and installing a chimney cap. However, the ****** item you found is actually a flue cap, which differs in its coverage and purpose from a chimney cap. I want to emphasize that we never request full payment in advance for any project, and we certainly would not retain all funds for a project you wish to cancel. Regarding the delayed start of your project, we were forced to reschedule due to your project being put on hold. To ensure our team's productivity, we had to arrange an alternative project. On the day of installation, our attempts to contact you at 8:43 AM went unanswered. Despite our efforts to reach out through knocking and using your ring cam, it appeared that no one was present during the installation. It's regrettable that debris crossed the fence line into the TVA property. We couldn't spot it from your property during the cleanup process, but we acknowledge this occurrence and will take steps in the future to keep our work sites and their neighboring areas debris free. The inadequate cleanup at the job site has been discussed with our managers to prevent a recurrence and I deeply apologize for how this has impacted both you and your neighboring community. We are committed to enhancing our practices through improved training and procedures and will learn and grow from this. Your feedback and recommendations are invaluable to us. We are dedicated to enhancing communication and inspection protocols to prevent similar misunderstandings in the future. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us so we can continue to improve our practices.
