I went to the Cochran owned McDonald’s down the street from my house at 3120 N. Broadway Knoxville, TN 37917 store number 4288 on 4/15/2023. One of the items I ordered was not in my bag when I got home. I kept my receipt so I could let them know on my next visit, 4/27/2023–Which was less than 2 weeks later and the female manager ************* told me “you had ample time to collect this” and refused to give me what I paid for nor did she refund the money. She could have went back to that exact date and looked at cameras to prove they did not give me what I paid for (if it was that serious). I had paid for 2 Oreo mcflurries in which she turned around and told the little boy at the window “don’t give those to her” went to th register and gave me my money for the mcflurries and refused to serve me. When I drove away, my 5 year old said “mom, where are our mcflurries?” This type of behavior is unacceptable in a servic industry and made me have a very uncomfortable conversation with my daughter who was too young to witness such a conflict or discuss it. I will never return to that McDonalds if any of them again. I can spend money elsewhere. I do think a family owned business would lead their employees to behave with respect and integrity. I’m extremely disappointed by this exchange and feel very uncomfortable by this entire situation. I would not have kept a receipt sitting in my car if not to prove my purchase.
