            After Moving Time moved us on 5/14/22, I discovered on 5/24/22 that the back of my Sherrill sofa had been torn. I called and was told no problem and that they would pick up sofa for repair. Sofa was picked up in early June 2022 and taken to C & S Refinishing and Upholstery. C & S called me to ask if I had anymore of the fabric, which I did not. They said labor alone would be $2,500-$3,500 plus the fabric. When I called Moving Time w this info, I was told no problem, over $2K is taken care of by their insurance. I suggested to their insurance that they pay me all or a portion of the new sofa I had bought since we weren’t going to use the ripped one. The next thing I learn is that it was turned over to an attorney (no idea why!) and they were going to depreciate my Sherrill sofa down to $750 and it took OVER A YEAR to get that money!! I even have emails where Moving Time said they’d recover my sofa, but nope, $750 is all I received! Lesson learned: NEVER use a business that isn’t accredited by the BBB!
