    Back in March had a tree fall on my house had to Call the ER claim number to file a claim was then notified after i called on the Monday after the adjuster would not be available til the Thursday she came and took a few pictures and took some of the ones i had she also took pictures of the receipts i had there were gas for the generator and food We had No electric to cook or anything else so after she left i went on keeping receipts for the same things for almost a week after we were without electricity for 2 weeks and i was told i was using the same receipts that she took copies of I told her to check the dates They were different Everything that was damaged was depreciated except the TREE and after that and my deductible there was not enough money to fix things Even the Electrician was depreciated i had to pay some out of pocket This is called an ACV actual cash value So be careful when getting insurance from a Broker or Company I have posted a few pictures on google And i had some items that were destroyed and yet to get money for those as well as what we spend for 2 people to eat as well as gas for 2 weeks Cant get the adjuster to return or answer my phone calls This Insurance co. is Farmers Mutual or FMT of TN

    Our records confirm that **** ********** insurance application, which she signed on March 11, 2020, is for an Actual Cash Value (ACV) policy. This means all claim payments are calculated based on the depreciated value of the damaged property, less the applicable deductible, as outlined in the policy agreement.
    Throughout the handling of this claim, our licensed adjusters worked to explain the ACV coverage. Following the policy terms, they processed all eligible receipts for Additional Living Expenses (ALE), including gas and food expenses. Payments were issued on the covered damages, including repairs and approved ALE, and documented communications were made regarding the claim status and next steps.
    We understand that experiencing storm damage can be highly stressful, and we are committed to treating every policyholder fairly, respectfully, and professionally.

    I wish I could put -5 as my review. Do not purchase insurance from this company. They do not care about their customers. It is all about the money. I had $60k worth of damage that they tried to only pay $24k for. I ended up having to invoke my appraisal clause and have a private appraiser fight for my money. I got it... but no thanks to FMT. Here I am 8 months later and just now I have my roof fixed and no more tarp! That isn't even mentioning the inside water damage that my family lived in that whole time because they refused to pay. They are a nightmare. My specific adjuster was a particular pain. I will never ever ever give them my business again and neither should you.
