    Cress Co. was our homebuilder. We have lived in the home for over 3 months and still do not have a Certificate of Occupancy. We ask to get this rectified weekly and keep getting a run around.

    Cress Company INC built the house and called for a final inspection to obtain a certificate of occupancy. The inspector stated that he wanted to see a radon vent installed that would go through the roof. This requirement is not typical for a crawl space house and our project manager had to develop a plan to get this vent through the finished house and through the roof. This work has been completed and the inspector from the County has inspected it and there should be a certificate of occupancy issued any day now. There was a delay in getting the work done because the owner still owes Cress Company a lot of money and when the homeowner agreed to pay the plumber to do the work directly Cress Company proceeded to get the work done required to get a certificate of occupancy. Cress Company was unwilling to do any more work and have the owner's owing Cress Company even more money than they do now.
